His whole gripe with nike was that they were playing him with release dates and royalties.
Adidas is giving him royalties and free reign with the design. Nike constricts designs alot.

Adidas are extremely ggoodwith their designer collaborations so I'm actually intrigued about how the new line of shoes will look.

Mate, i'm fully aware of his gripes with the fashion industry and I can talk at length about his problems in it and the timeline of it. I was sspecifically talking about the nike situation.
At the rue kanye is a confused hypocrite. He could easily start his own brand and then gain respect from the merits of it. Stella McCartney had to put work in for years before she got any respect. Kanye's problem is that he thinks his star power and because he can dress well should be enough to allow him to latch on these brands with prestige and history. He has no successful collection designing record, he cant cut and sew himself and these fashion people have been doing this there whole lives so im not surprised that they're not letting him in.
But like I said he's a confused hypocrite because he talks about other people being slaves but hes too in love with the stature of european high end fashion to start his own power circle.

wish he woulda went w/ puma instead. their platinum/black label/starke/McQueen/etc... couture line seemed like a better fit for better fit for him as the next in line to take it to a higher-broader level, but alas...
