I'm a Ye fan. I agree that he does have a clear vision, but stuff like "I understand the culture. I am the nucleus." has me a little concerned. There's a slight possibility we're looking at a case of the emperor wearing no clothes.

'Ye is, and forever will be more then a bit of a pretentious, egocentric douchebag, but he has somewhat of a good heart...he's passionate about his craft, and I respect some of what he said here. Turned on some old Kanye for the night, interested to hear the new project, haven't even listened to one track.

I dont even blame Kanye at this point ... ppl are fascinated with him. Most of hte stuff he says he truly believes but he's lying if hes acting like he would be the same person if he wasn't getting all the attention he does for it.

I remember an interview years ago with him where he said he's that way b/c he really has low confidence, and him being over the top with his ego allows him to operate better.
