it goes without saying that this dude's ego is in another stratosphere :yeshrug:

Dude was trolling his ass of with the Steve Jobs comparisons :dead:.
It's okay to say it in a song, but in an interview...

Like I said in another post he's a method actor, he goes into the role of the music he's releasing. From backpacks to tuxes and golden girls to suited up to rockstar.

People take it to seriously, I see it all as entertainment. The only question I have is if he changes his personality first and then creates the music or vice versa.

I remember an interview years ago with him where he said he's that way b/c he really has low confidence, and him being over the top with his ego allows him to operate better.

I could see that. It cant possibly be like that anymore though. People dont make statements like "I am the nucleus" out of insecurity

maybe.

I dont see anything wrong with it so long as he's not mistreating ppl as a result.

If him needing to beieve that helps him make dope music, then fine with me.

2 of the years he lost AOTY to a black person.

And :russ::beli: at him getting pissed because he hasn't beaten a white person but wanting to go on the stage to protest on Justin Timberlake's behalf even though Cee-Lo lost too.

He beat eminem & beastie boys off the top of my head. I agree with the sentiment that the grammies not showing hiphop respect outside of it's categories.

Cruel Summer.

I'd say My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. Yes, it got rave reviews and what not, but impact wise and influence, that album came and went. G.O.O.D. Fridays, the Runaway video, and the hype surrounding the album was >>>>>> the album itself in terms of impact and influence. In comparison to every album that Kanye dropped before, MBDTF made the least amount of noise. It was one of those albums where the event >>>> than the album.

I'm not saying the album was wack, in fact it was a dope album, but being honest, that album didn't have moments like:

Jesus Walks
All Falls Down
Gold Digger
Diamonds Are Forever
Stronger
Heartless

^^^ All of those songs were huge and were "impact" records. When College Dropout dropped, there was a shift in Hip Hop towards the more social and political issues. Late Registration was more so Kanye's progression sonically. Graduation is really when the tides turned and it phased out the era that 50 helped bring back to the forefront. Then 808's influenced an artist like Drake.

This was asked but not fully explained.
Ki.m stealing used condoms.
Ye is paranoid about catching deadly stds since he already has herpes. It drives him insane because he really does think hes untouchable in his hyped up mind. So any type of dieases/sickness he dont want to mess with it.
So when hes out on the road and not seeing Ki.m im assuming he makes her get tested when he comes back to LA or NYC. When hes around for a good amount of time I guess they dont use protection and he raw dogs it. I heard he was the same way with Am.ber

I think what Kanye West is going to mean is something similar to what Steve Jobs means. I am undoubtedly, you know, Steve of Internet, downtown, fashion, culture. Period. By a long jump. I honestly feel that because Steve has passed, you know, it’s like when Biggie passed and Jay-Z was allowed to become Jay-Z.

Hahaha Kanye is outta control.

You Steve Jobs now breh? :beli:

Kayne is a real smart dumb motherfukker. We all know he was in that slow class :yeshrug:

This idiot trying to compare himself to titans of industry like Ford, Hughes, Jobs.:stopitslime:

You make hip-pop music breh :beli:

Real talk Jay-Z is still way bigger than Kanye in every way imaginable. He even admitted he need Jay to be next to him on tour :sadcam:

I’ve been connected to the most culturally important albums of the past four years, the most influential artists of the past ten years. You have like, Steve Jobs, Walt Disney, Henry Ford, Howard Hughes, Nicolas Ghesquière, Anna Wintour, David Stern.

I think that’s a responsibility that I have, to push possibilities, to show people: “This is the level that things could be at.” So when you get something that has the name Kanye West on it, it’s supposed to be pushing the furthest possibilities. I will be the leader of a company that ends up being worth billions of dollars, because I got the answers. I understand culture. I am the nucleus.

I'm going to assume this was just said in jest, and that he actually doesn't really believe this. I've got nothing against him making that a goal but damn Ye
