the thing is as much I loved Kanye's music don't think I've ever really thought about him in a ranking setting. even in my own personal favorites list I forget or just don't think of him for them for whatever reason. it's like he exists on his own plane. you could say the same about Drake I have thought about were I'd rank him.

He was always looked at as a rapper, which is why 808's was largely shunned when it was released, because people expected and wanted Kanye rapping.
