I'll listen to the Malone argument. Just like I'll listen to, say, a Ewing or a Robinson over Dream argument, but in the end Timmy>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Mailman.

It just is what it is...

Theres no case to be made for Ewing over Hakeem...

Do you understand the concept of defense?
Pretend that Malone wouldn't have David Robinson by his side for 2 rings. :rudy:

Pretend the Spurs didn't always have depth and talent at every position to help out.:rudy:

What Malone lacks in defensive ability he makes up for by being 2 times the scorer Duncan is.

But they had David Robinson, who would've served as an excellent defensive 5 to mask Malone's inabilities on that end, a la Tyson Chandler for Dirk.

Think of it this way..

99-Robison's there
2003-Robinson's there
2005-The only toss up.
2007-Didn't need any kind of defense to beat that ass Cavs team.
2014-Team was loaded with depth.

Genuinely think that if Malone was replaced with Tim Duncan but everything else stayed the same, the outcomes of those Finals would all still end up in SA victories. The ONLY toss up would be with that Detroit team in 2007, but even with Duncan that shyt went to 7 so...

Duncan was a center playing power forward, that homo Malone was an actual power forward. I'll take Duncan because of defense in the paint. That's all.

:birdman:

Im takin Malone because this homo called Karl a homo

Robinson was on one leg by the time 03 came and he was never the same after his achilles...Malone was a fukking hog who bogged down the Jazz offense...

Nigags talking about Malone was two time the offense of player foh Malone couldn't fukking shoot a 5footer until about 93,nikkas be disrespecting Tim offensive game it was nothing he couldn't do in his prime no weaknesses nikka wtf you thought:camby:

Uh, he was still a big contributor in '99 and while he was :flabbynsick: in '03 he was still a starter giving you 2 blocks per game and a nice interior presence defensively--which at the time, was all they needed him to do. You're acting like I said Robinson would be there to contribute with the scoring load as well but I very specifically stated that Malone as a defensive liability would not matter because Robinson was there. That was it.

malone if you want scoring. its not too many pfs that can average 30 in their sleep. malone could do it all. post up. mid range. 15-18 footer wet as hell. get to the line and actually hit his free throws. but duncan was the better rebounder, shot blocker and all around defender. offense- malone. defense- duncan

Yeah let's just ignore the fact that Duncan was the defensive anchor during the 2002/2003 season and averaged 3.3 blocks per game in the playoffs. :heh:
