Yet he's considered a top 5 (and in some cases 2) player in todays NBA because he plays for the Spurs and the league is watered down with 1 and done nikkas learning how to play on the job ass players.

Leonard's current status is the equivalent of Dwight Howard being the best center in the NBA at one point :scusthov:

wrong comparison.. kawhi defense is up there with his offense... i'd say hes a gary payton type with a better offensive game

Mitch was the 3rd best SG in the 90's after MJ and Clyde (two of the top six 2-guards ever). That's not a small feat at all.

But with Kawhi's superior ability on the defensive end, he's >>>>> Mitch
Better then Reggie and Steve smith?

mitch was definitely better than steve smith

mitch fukked up by playing for them kings, but I guess they paid him the most? Really fukked up his legacy, kings before c-webb era were one of the most irrelevant teams ever.

mitch woulda been better than reggie had he played for a well built team like pacers

he got MJ's co-sign

stupid warriors fukked it up by breaking up run tmc and trading for billy owens, run tmc would be a fun team to watch in todays era

Yes imo. Reggie was a household name with more memorable career moments, but Richmond was the better player.

As far as SG's in the 90's, Dumars and Sprewell >>> Smith.

Kawhi is leaps and bounds over Mitch Richmond and that's no did to Mitch who was a beast. But Kawhi keeps this up he is going to have to be mentioned in the same breath as Bron and Bird when it comes to discussing the greatest power forwards ever.

I've come to understand why The Coliseum degrades so horrifically during the NBA playoffs.

In the regular season, you have 30 teams playing whoever each night, with varying levels of effort, some guys get hot, some guys take the night off, sometimes it's exciting and sometimes it's boring, whatever. You can talk about just about anything.

But when the playoffs come, you only have the best teams facing each other with 100% effort. No one taking night's off, if anyone gets hot one night they get exposed the next night. The focus is on the greatest players, and there is no longer any room to deny how great they are.

So since 40% of the Coli is absolute idiots who hate a great player or two simply because they're a rival, or because they don't understand basketball, they have nowhere to hide in the playoffs. They have no justification for their hate. So they regress to wild swinging at idiocy in an attempt to deflect.

That's why we have 10 absolutely moronic threads like this popping up every morning. :ehh:
