Kawhi Leonard is the equivalent of Mitch Richmond if he played in the 90's

You just said Lebron wouldn't win 61 games with this Spurs team when he won 66 with the bummy ass Cavs
The best team in that conference was the Dwight Howard Magic:mjlol::mjlol::mjlol:

Bron was crushing soda cans and the first decent team they saw they got ran off the court:mjlol::mjlol::mjlol:

Bron has YET to win 60 games since he's been back with Cleveland in this weak ass East:mjlol::mjlol::mjlol:

Kawhi has done it in back to back years:russ:

And I don't even like the Spurs:russ:

LeBron haters are the same as trumpset in higher learning. No consistency to their argument. Deconstruct it once and then it's best to ignore them since they keep pushing their agenda even if the facts don't line up.
I don't even dislike LeBron. But he's 14 years in. We KNOW for a fact that he needs (or thinks he needs) certain types of talent around him to win big. He would get destroyed if he was in Kawhi's place.

And that's not a knock against him or his talents. This Spurs team doesn't fit his style of play AT ALL. Not nearly enough shooting to create the space he needs and likes to have (which also takes pressure off of himself as a shooter).

So to sit here and act like "THE SPURS SYSTEM" is propping Kawhi up is dumb as fukk. Kawhi MAKES this system right now. Without him the Spurs are a worse version of the 2013-14 TrailBlazers.

nikka the Orlando Magic with D12 is better than any West team not named the Warriors or Spurs:stopitslime: ... Boston was playing in that conference too and a 54 win Atlanta squad with Horford/Iso Joe/J Smoove/Bibby ... The East was stronger than and he was winning 66 games lmao. Bron just don't gaf about the regular season anymore if he really wanted to the Cavs would win 60 games this year

Kawhi could go down as better than Scottie.

But PG hasn't even approached Scottie's level yet.
I'm just saying trajectory wise , I think both are going to end up better than Scottie .. My wording was off right now they aren't but I see both passing him

You "know he'd get crushed" if he switched spots with Leonard how exactly? This cavaliers team falls apart the moment LeBron goes to the bench and is far more dependent on him than the spurs are on Leonard as their +/- shows. He's got a bunch of one way players around him and his best teammate is shooting below 40% from the field and under 30% from distance during the playoffs, and nobody on that team plays much defense yet they've won 7 straight.

Lmao the Spurs TOTALLY make it a priority to win 60 games...they never sit their starters huh?:russ:

Bron doesn't care about the regular season...but he led the league in MPG:jbhmm:...he was resting huh??:russ:

Oh yeah that East was super duper strong...so strong that Bron swept the first two rounds but just couldn't get past the mighty Magic...who got the shyt kicked out of them in the finals:russ::russ::russ:

Real talk tho breh im fukking with you. I highly doubt Bron wins 61 games in the west with these Spurs when he hasn't done it in the east with his Cavs (who are MUCH more talented than the Spurs are, outside of Kahwi) even while hes playing his ass off for damn near 40 mins a game.

But if you believe in your mans like that then gone head. LeBron has shown he knows how to kick it into OD

Well, first, the whole "Spurs are better defensively when Kahwi sits" thing has been disproven.

Kawhi is so defensively dominant that teams just ignore whoever his man is on offense like a "reverse iso" situation. The Bulls, for example, stuck Jimmy in the corner with Kawhi and ran motions to the other side of the court. When your starting lineup has Tony Parker and Pau Gasol in it I mean...:francis: If teams are going to attack them in PnR there's basically nothing Kawhi can do besides leave his man wide open.

With that out of the way, plain and simple, LeBron would be far and away the best offensive AND the best defensive player on the Spurs with no close second. We saw in Cleveland (not so much the first time...he worked wonders in his younger years), in Miami, and again in Cleveland that when he has that ridiculous workload his jumper will abandon him at times which makes him 999999x easier to defend.

Could LeBron win 61 games if he switched spots with Kawhi? Maybe. But I need more evidence than "He is barely trying!!!"

you agree with him?

I think Jason Kidd is overrated, but so is Stockton.
Kidd is the most overrated player in the modern era by a country mile. He's an all-time great only because of his longevity. He wasn't a great, transcendent player during his prime like these revisionists will tell you.

There's value in being a good ball facilitator and defensive player over a long period of time.
Greatness isn't always defined as short peaks and this is true across all sports.

If your problem is really how "others" view/rate him, then your problem is with fans.
Stop using their hyperbole to detract from Kidd's value on the court.

You talk about Jason Kidd like some overrated 6th man.

Did you not just read my post - He's an all-time great only because of his longevity.

Thanks for that Captain Obvious. The problem is, folk don't know how to differentiate between the two, they think that just because Kidd is a HOF-type of player that therefore automatically it means he was this transcedent player during his prime on that simple basis. You've got folk on this board who genuinely believe he'd be the best PG in the game if he played today. That's the issue here. They overlook just how much of a detriment he was to his team's offense when he occupied the majority of the possessions.

:dwillhuh:

Isn't that what the fukk I just said in my post you quoted?

I talk about Kidd in the proper light that he should be discussed in. No filler, no props, no bullshyt, no revisionism. I can guarentee for a fact that nobody on this board has watched (both live and on tape) and dissected more of Kidd's play like I have.
