Hate to see injury to anyone..but I think we can all agree Thunder won this trade.

One would think that this makes Leonard picking up his $36 million player option a near certainty (though there's little use in trying to predict how his offseasons will go anymore). As such, we'll operate under the assumption that he'll be a Clipper for at least one more year.

And with that salary on the books, L.A. will be over the cap. Barring trades, the team figures to look a lot like it did during the Western Conference Finals against the Phoenix Suns.

Behind Paul George, the Clippers were pluckier than expected without Kawhi in the playoffs. They won Games 5 and 6 against the top-seeded Jazz and stretched the next series to six, but a broader sample suggests some trouble.

Brehs I know they won’t do it but to me it’s hard to justify maxing kawhi with the amount of games he plays.

:dahell:
Raps had the second most wins in the nba last year

This year we were 4th in the east until covid took away our best players for like 3 weeks

now we have the 4th pick and will be right back next year
Lol came to post exact same. Not to mention playing away all year - no home games.

Grateful for the 'Ship, ain't no one bitter. Love seeing posts like that as if Kawhi didn't get a standing ovation on his return along with MVP chants :dead:

Spurs and raptors fans in here sounding like scorned women still upset because their X left and upgraded :mjcry:

Both teams have struggled to even make the playoffs without him and both are lottery bound right now

Spurs and Raptors both got rings out of Kawhi Leonard being their best player:mjlol:

Then after his knees got shot and he literally couldn't play in back to back games they passed him to the clippers :mjlol:

You know how he shut Luka down at the end of games. He used to do that in the beginning of games when he was in San Antonio :mjlol:

Now the clippers about to have to cash him out to 200 million and he probably won't even play next year.

But I guess thats the price you pay when your franchise is 40 years in with 0 championships to they name :mjlol:
