We have numbers, the thing Kobe stans hate, to actually support statements like these, and none of them are in Kobes favor...

LeBron triples Kobe in both Twitter and IG followers...

The NBA was bordering on TV ratings irrelevance during Kobes prime while every LeBron finals minus 07 continuously sets the mark for TV ratings records post Jordan. The Miami Heat single handedly revived TV viewership for the NBA regular season.

The massive TV deal the NBA got that allows for all these crazy salaries is purely based on the resurging interest in the league that came with the rise of LeBron. Hint hint, ESPN is bleeding cash right now from that TV deal because LeBron is getting older and the Warriors even with all their star power haven't been half the TV draw he is, and ratings are beginning to plateau.

And LeBron is under a microscope that Kobe never was. I mean dude tweets song lyrics and you Kobe stans make multi page threads trying to psycho analyze the tweet and it's national news on ESPN.

But tell me more about how legendary Kobe is because he got MVP chants on the road. Which btw LeBron has done too. Also bare in mind LeBron has been a bigger TV draw than Kobe without the luxury of playing for a legendary franchise and massive TV market. And y'all nikkas think it's close. :mjlol:

Bron is a bigger draw than Kobe, numbers don't lie more jersey sales, more shoe sales, nikes top draw, highest finals ratings since mj and the bulls

Lebron doesn't sell out arenas the way Kobe's Lakers did

And of course Bron is Nike's top draw bc they invested so much into him

idc about jersey sales

Kobe was the biggest non-soccer athlete in the world...and he puts on a better display of basketball skill than Bron

That's why Lakers games sell out even when we aren't that good

:snoop: I should've known this would turn into a typical Bron v Kobe thread. Not my intentions at all.

Easily the most entertaining rivalry on the world wide web tho :whoo:

Lol bron wasn't the box office hit it was the heatles were cuz first time 3 top 5-10 players in their prime playing together. Bron as a stand alone player isn't must see

Chris Bosh wasn't no top 5-10 player and no one was buying tickets to watch his ass on the Heat. :dead:

He was def a top 10 two way player before he went to MIA
No, he wasn't. Chris Bosh wasn't even considered a two way player before he went to Miami.

:heh:

The narrative behind him was that he was an empty stats player who couldn't take a team to the playoffs.
MIAMI -- Chris Bosh wants to get the record straight.

He wants you to know the scoring column does not define him as a player. As everyone rushes to praise his point totals in this series, Bosh wants you to understand the real reason he came to the Miami Heat and why they are where they are.

It has nothing to do with scoring, or the 34 points that he put up in Game 3.

For Bosh and the Miami organization, it’s all about defense.

By joining the Heat, Bosh wanted to finally shed the label that he was limited as a one-way player. That he couldn’t play defense. That he didn’t play winning basketball. That he compiled empty stats on a losing team. That he belonged to the same genus as fellow 2010 free agents Carlos Boozer and Amare Stoudemire -- power forwards who can score, but have trouble stopping their opponents from scoring.

The Heat got the most out of Bosh defensively by utilizing him the way Coach K did in the '08 Olympics. By lessening his offensive load he was able to focus more on defense, he became an elite P&R defender on Miami. In Toronto he was in the middle for some of the worst defenses in the league.

You nikkas do not watch basketball.

I wonder how a "top 5-10 two-way player" couldn't even crack 3rd-team All-NBA in the three years before he joined the Heat? :jbhmm:

Bosh was arguably not even top-5 power forward when he joined the Heat (Dirk, Duncan, Pau, Amare, and Garnett in 2010, then Blake and LaMarcus surpassed him later. )

No y'all nikkas don't watch ball. Y'all try to minimize all stars & HOFers to elevate Bron.

At worst he was a top 15 player.

As a Kobe fan, I don't have to diminish Gasoline to elevate Kobe

Y'all Bron fans are sickening

And Bosh's frontcourt versatility allowed Mia to thrive. Nikkas gave up post touches, became a jumper & D player in order for Mia to win

Bron the one with empty stats tbh
