Man, Caleb already has as many 300 yards passing games as Fields has had in five years.

I don't think Fields is as bad as people say, but Caleb was easily the right choice. Caleb is a multiplier that'll make his weapons better.

In 5 games I’ve seen Caleb read defenses better than Fields in 4 years. He’s got more command at the line of scrimmage than Fields. And he throws all over the field.

You seem to have a vendetta against Fields, and I will admit that I really am not that familiar with his game up until this year.

But all can tell you is that he played MUCH better than what was on the box score. He took care of the ball and did what was needed in the air and on the ground to get the W.

But to answer your first question: people are comparing the two because the Bears could have easily kept JH on the cheap.

But now they are left with a QB that does not appear to be 'generational', and the question still remains: Was it Fields or the Franchise?

Caleb has way more upside as a thrower of the football. Like he can make every throw. He makes faster reads and decisions. I get it he is very gen Z but his skill cannot be denied and the Bears can build around him.
