She doesn't have to date someone on her level but a man with a career who she doesn't have to pay to be in projects is a good start. I don't even think her child's father had a real job.

She's a sweetheart but no woman should be taking dating advice from her, considering who she chose to father her children. He and her lack a certain maturity if you ask me
I don’t know much about the man she chose to have her child with but I will say this… there’s nothing wrong with a woman making more money than her partner.. however, the partner has to still be contributing to their combined lifestyle. There needs to be an established distinction between who is responsible for what role within the relationship and both parties should agree to it.

Once there is an established agreement on each role they play in the relationship, then they each need to make sure they accomplish that role.

It’s that simple. Who cares who makes more money? How are you all together as partners? What is your ultimate goal with each other? What are you trying to build?

Let's stop tha bs. Keke is being realistic. Keke faces extremely strong competition from other women seeking to date the men in her profession and income level. If you watched the movie Nope, you can't unsee her without makeup. She's a makeup 5. She found her lane and is staying in it.

Something like 8% of all black men in America make over 6 figures. That's like 1.5 million dudes. Subtract the ones of age, then the ones that aren't married and you're left with MAYBE around 300,000 dudes. And most of them are married to BLACK WOMEN.

:blessed:

This has always been the truth. Interracial marriages are still only about 10% of all marriages.
i know.

Insecure mufukkaz keep running with that narrative. But the 10% and outliers keep the computers and insecurity 'putin'

i told y'all the civil war between black women is coming. There's women like Keke, Lauren London, that girl from Power, etc in real life who simply wanna be with a guy she likes, and are getting called pick me's for it :manny:
Of course there will some black women ain’t trying to be lonely and miserable if they can find a great man for them and not just for finances. I’m not saying they’re not important but it’s not everything in a relationship. If your man who’s confident in yourself and if you love a woman it shouldn’t bother you if she makes more than you and loves you.

There are many people that give excellent advice that don’t necessarily follow it themselves.
That’s the thing.
We choose what advice matters somewhat arbitrarily.

You can point to someone who has 3 failed marriages and toss their advice in the bushes because the marriage didn’t last.

Or you can look at them and realize they might be aware of all the mistakes they made and you could learn a lot from their experience.

Most people tend to agree that failure is life’s greatest teacher. And yet we dismiss anyone who had the courage to try and failed.

Of course, context matters. Not every failure is a model for life. I’m just saying, it’s complicated.

The thing is, it isn’t even really about whether the woman makes more than the man. That’s just Keke’s specific situation. The women mad at her is because they just feel like a man should pay everything, period, with nothing in return, regardless of who makes what. At the end of the day Kekes overall message is really just finding a decent dude that you actually like and who works hard that u can build with.
