Not hating but, Kendrick is hands down one of the most overrated rappers in Hiphop history.

and also J.cole.
There are 3 reasons why:
1.) People of this generation (especially young kids) have had no absolutely exposure to real hiphop from the 90's. Because if they did, "Kendrick" & "Greatest" would never be in the same sentence.... neither would J.cole.
2.) The rap game is so watered down right now, so of course "Kendrick" or "J.cole" would be considered "deep"..... That's only cause the rap game is a fukking puddle.

But when you look beyond the surface you'll realize these nikkas are only 3ft deep especially compared to shyt nikkas was talkin bout back in the 80's and 90's.
They aint kickin no real knowledge, or shyt that will transform Black people & our culture.
They just throw in a few "Black Lives Matter" quotes here and there, and references to "The struggle" to keep the fake woke instagram crowed happy, then go home to their non-black wives while the culture continues to fall and get infiltrated by outsiders.
3.) It's easy to sound deep to stupid people (90% of the population).
Edit:

I'm not hating.... I'm just simply saying, if you know your hiphop there is no way you can possibly classify Kendrick or J.cole as a "Greatest". Of course they can be the greatest amongst TRASH. But J.cole nor Kendrick would not be relevant rappers back in the day. Lyrically/and musically they aint got it.....especially when compared to nikkas from the 90's. Let's keep it 100.
Good Kid Maad city had some dope ass tracks though.
