KT from The Source just compiled the top 50 albums of all time according to the most known sources of ratings :wow:
Kendrick is the only post 2000 artist in the top 20 (twice), and op trying to tell me its all because of the era he came from? :dead: it's mainly because of the quality of the music nikka.

See an I see this as facetious. If Drake didn’t have Wayne he would have been the next Kardinal. If Cole didn’t have Hov he would have been Petey Pablo. Future was in the dungeon family had deep hip hop roots in the south. Like what we talking about here all the nikkaz I listed some how got a push. They all had the talents to push forward and have the people fukk with them. I remember Mims this is why I’m hot was the biggest record it was in commercials was all over the radio but guess what the nikka wasn’t creative enough to move past that hit and is in the abyss.

I remember Drake from Best I Ever Had and Successful. Not sure if Wayne did something for him before that. I was probably late to the game on him. J Cole was definitely helped by Jayz affiliation. He also flopped under that pressure. But he reinvented himself into a less competetive space. Future? Future didnt need anybody to tell us he was in the Dungeon Family or that he was their protege. Are we going to pretend he didnt have an organic rise locally from his music:gucci:?

In hiphop the more knowledge you have of other music, the more comprimised and less hiphop you are. The streets decide what great hiphop is and what it consist of. Thats the reason all you Kendrick stans are so elated right now. He finally feels validated for real by the streets.

Dont bring your outsider standards to hiphop,we dont care. We are tired of Kendrick stans trying to introduce new metrics and random espn stats to elevate him. Yall are like the new fans who keep bringing up analytics to discuss whos great at basketball. We are purist who really watch and know the game:pacspit:

nikka I’ll be 40 next I been listening to hip hop since the 90s. I can tell you right now I have never seen a rapper at 37 dominate in this way in hip hop. All the rappers were all going in there legacy years at that age.

Jay had Kingdom Come
Eminem had Recovery
Wayne had Carter 5
Kanye had Yeesuz
Kendrick had GNX which I would say is a better album at the age then what I listed above.

Future was around the biggest artists of the south at that time getting knowledge and learning how to record you know how many nikkaz would have killed to be in a position being side by side OutKast and Goodie Mob soaking up game. If that didn’t happen who is to say he wouldn’t be the future he is today. Drake was signed to young money by the time best I ever had came out. You wasn’t around during the replacement girl days when he was begging for features from Trey Songz. Drake wasn’t poppin in his own city until he got that Wayne co-sign.

Doesn't mater what year. His discography is all time no matter. Might actually be the only rapper that really transcended hip hop and got his albums compared to the absolute best musicians :yeshrug:
But feel free to disagree, we haven't seen one valid argument from you except posting your subjective opinion, while disregarding the objective quality of his music being the reason for his status.

I thought hip hop was dead in 99 but Kendrick made sure hip hop was an artform that could compete with Jazz, classical music and rock :wow:

First rapper to release a flawless album from a musical angle :wow:

First of all dumbass, this is redundant; because subjective MEANS opinion. So what the fukk would be an "objective" opinion. Two, once you bring up opinions, you lost. You cant bounce back and forth between objective and subjective due to the lack of an actual talking point. You nikkas are dumb, deaf, slow, mute, blind, and everything else in between.

This whole thread premise is based off of YOUR OPINION.

It’s your opinion the awards, the acclaim and accolades tell a different story. No one needs to argue with you the stats is up there and documented.
"Acclaim" is an opinion, dumbass. its a GENERAL opinion. We not talking about NOW, we talking about where he'd be at THEN. Stupid nikka.

Kendrick status has nothing to do with how popular he has been in the 2010s/20s. He got that all time status because of his catalog that can stand strong against any catalog from any legend, from any era.
