I've seen Nas perform a bunch of times.

The issue with the breath control has always been a thing with him. I remember years ago when Jungle had to back him crazy because dude was havin' serious problems with breathin'.

Nas has some dope shyt to perform live too, but I don't think performin' has ever really been his focus. Dude's a writer, his shows have never really been all that great. It's always cool to see him, but the expectations have been low for a minute.

Ok so just got back . I was postin on the coli during the hour n 1/2 I had to kill Btwn Kendrick n nas( the only 2 ppl performing I actually cared about). First n foremost Kendrick absolutely destroyed it, can't even hate, he had the crowd going crazy. With that said , I was cautiously excited to c Nas bc I've seen past performances of his where he has ZERO energy, forgets his lyrics, n is constantly out of breath. He took the stage about 930 n I was amped!!() Brehs, to say he's one of the WORST live performers I've ever seen hip hop wise is a gross understatement. He was out of breath, unenthused, and generally N to add insult to injury he had a band back him up, trying to do what jay does, only the live instrumentation on top of his DJ playing sounded awful n mismatched. In jays case, the band sounds right w his backing tracks. To make a long story short, I left after he started performing "Daughters" what a waste of fukkin time

Seen him several times and he's usually pretty good live and gets good reviews. He's been doing the band thing for a few years now. I think its matte of expectations but most people who seen him like him. he does a ton of songs and his breath control is usually on point.
But he does have off nights. Feel free to google some reviews of his shows
