A Drake vs K Dot would have been good as hell, as K dot can rap and can match Drakes wit. Meek imo isnt in Drakes tier, so Drake will just continue to talk to him like he is a lil homie, and Meek will come on some basic stuff with the yelling flow.

Let's not forget who this guy's mentor is. Dr. Dre has a long track record of finding and creating superstars within hip-hop. He knows the recipe of longevity. Kendrick got a couple of shots in afterwards with the BET cypher and quite possibly King Kunta, which is fukking hilarious when you think about the context.
This means K Dot knew Drake was a fraud, wrote the lyrics, and the entire general public had no idea it was aimed at someone specific. Drake couldn't fire back either or else he would get clowned. K Dot straight punked his ass. I'm imagining Drake sitting on his couch with his hands in his face embarrassed when he heard that.
But a full out assault against Drake at the time would have not been a good look. Sure, Kendrick might have won but he was only one LP in at the time and only solidifying his status within the game. He was wise to throw a few jabs and fall back and wait for a response (which never came btw)
