It's funny how many in this thread are like

"Yesssss!! Preach Kendrick!!! Modern day Christians are scared of the accountability of the old testament!! You fakkit's, trannies, hoes, pork eaters gonna feel the wrath!!!"

In the midst of all this, none of you mentioned general, hetero fornication, and lust(For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.Proverbs-23:7)

:jbhmm:

Sex before marriage...

:jbhmm:

Use of profanity....

:jbhmm:

How many of y'all are virgins?(I am)

:jbhmm:

Yet it seems ya'll are only Amening and sapping Kdot, so you can frame it in your personal criticisms of homos, hoes, and any non-straight male fornicators.

How may of y'all Amening even go to church on a reg basis?

:jbhmm:

It be that same ones cussing, lusting, and lying like "yes Kendrick!!!"

Hell kendrick's music isn't exactly gospel either...

:mjpls:

"Hoe sit down"

:mjlol:

Kendrick is right tho. I agree 100%. But it sounds funny style coming from a secular rapper....

1st, Kendrick isn't spiritually inclined. At all. You can't run around condemning the church for their actions while your album is full of explicit language. No matter how on point you are. 2nd, facing consequences for your past sins so you don't make the mistake again is false. Now if you remain UNREPENTANT true but God forgives. Consider the adulterous woman that Jesus forgave of her sins, while asking the accusing guards about their own. They wanted to handle her according to the LAW but Jesus being grace spared her. John 8:1-11. Words like Grace, compassion and mercy bro.

Spiritually inclined has to do with how evolved your soul has become and music is a form of expression, he probably rarely curses in his day to day life, but through music he expresses his inner most thoughts and feelings. Plus, I don't think it's a sin to curse, its a sin to use hate speech or slander someone or idle chatter, but not to curse, because you can curse and actually be giving wisdom, its all about the message you're delivering with these words.

And Jesus also said you reap what you sow. Just because you want to live righteous now doesn't mean God isn't gonna make you pay for your own self inflicted karma, why? Because you gotta learn. You learn when things come back to bite you.

I agree with everything you said except the last part. I believe Kendrick may need to read Matthew 7:5 if he truly wants to be taken seriously. "You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye" Matthew 7:5 . Also just because God forgives you doesn't mean he's going to let you off the hook.

When we confess our sins and put our faith and trust in Christ alone for our salvation, God takes away all our guilt – absolutely and completely. The psalmist declared, “I said, ‘I will confess my transgressions to the Lord’ – and you forgave the guilt of my sin” (Psalm 32:5). We are forgiven!

But this doesn’t mean that all the sins of the past will suddenly vanish, and we’ll no longer have to deal with their consequences. Sin always has consequences – always. The devil tries to convince us that this isn’t so, and that we can ignore God’s laws and get by with it – but that’s a lie (like everything else he tells us). The guilt for our sins is gone when we come to Christ – but the consequences often remain.

Don’t let this discourage you, however, because something is different about your life now: God is with you! You no longer have to face your problems and temptations alone. God has come to live within you by His Holy Spirit, and He will help you as you turn to Him. The Bible says, “The Spirit helps us in our weakness” (Romans 8:26).
I agree. I shouldn't have made it seem as if song as no consequence. But as we both pointed out, God wipes away our sin, but he is still a just God

I don't even agree with that. I believe in positivity... positive energy attracts positive energy. But there is no punishment for negative actions... History has proven this time and time again

The only consequences for negativity is that you will become isolated.

The universe is chaos, why can't people just accept that? :why:

Elaborate more on that please.

yup..it's all about NUMBERS now......

CHURCH's can't fill thier financial coffers if they SCARE people away with that ole FIRE AND BRIMSTONE message of the OLD TIME CHURCH EVANGELISTS...

so now they gotta CONFORM.....if not THEY ARE SEEN AS "HATERS"

So come as you are ...ye ole THOTS...HARLOTS....BAD BYATCHES....TRANNYS..FUNBOYS...TRAP STARS and RAPPERS....

WE NEED YOUR SUPPORRT ($$$) LOL

hell most of these pastors now don't even have traditonal BIBLE BOOKS in thier pulpit..they reading from an IPAD app of the BIBLE :russ:
It goes both ways. You have churches(whether White Baptist or black herbews, etc) who ONLY speak on sins regarding homosexuality, trannies, hoes, dboys, but hardly speak on regular heterosexual premarital sex, or profanity. Go figure, there are more straight women and men fornicating everyday, than there are trannies, homosexuals in this country. There are more profanity users than trannies, homos, etc. There are more folks taking the Lord's name in vain in this nation, than there are trannies, homos etc. Yet they only focus on sins related to homos, etc, and not the most COMMON sins.

17Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

And all is not fulfilled, Nice try though
Good luck slaughtering an animal for atonement breh :yeshrug:

Respect the message but he's preaching to the void and the choir. People who would take his word as gospel see him as God on some Elijah Muhammad's son talking to Malcolm X in the acclaimed Spike Lee Joint Feature Film shyt. And the others who would listen already agree. Entertainers will never be taken seriously regarding major issues and should just stick to doing what they do best.

Did you know that no man has ever
left this Earth?

There's this thing called the Firmament above us,
that's like glass.

Nasa calls it the van Allen radiation belt.(lies)

They admitted they can't pass it. Yet
They claim they went to the Moon in
1969 but can't get there today.

Look at this Hennessy commercial!

And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. Genesis 1:7

They've been trying to break it for 50 years.
