of all the things to hold churches accountable for,not condeming people to hell enough shouldnt be one of em:martin:.....Kendrick went to LA church where maybe the rents a little higher for pastor:whew:....But every church i ever been to the pastor didnt have a problem telling people they was going to hell....if he means the sermon should be completley about the depressing fact that we all probaly going to hell based on how they currently living, then no....you gotta give the message for the 90% of the audience who aint quite there yet....Just think what Ice Cube did when he made his music,he sprinkled in the condemnation....I say that to say Cube>>>Kendrick:sas1:
Yeah this is what I feel. I grew up in the south so I know what time it is. Preachers just stopped preaching hell first like 10 years ago lol. The "hard truth" has never been missing from any church I've attended.

I do a lot of work w/ non profits.

The money some of these churches are making is crazy.
Some of them have their hands in so many pots in the neighborhoods.
The average person would have no idea (there money comes in from more places than the church).

Its not just churches though...a lot of these "community organizations" are a hustle for those running it.
Its a easy check every month/year from the government...and they have entire areas locked down.

I agree and I'm fully aware that it's not only Church's that are apart of the 501c3. I only mentioned that because if a church decides to side with the government then the church will be very limited on the content the preacher preaches about for exposing conspiracies, say or publish anything negative about ANY politician, Republican or Democrat, criticize the Pope or the Vatican, Criticize the Jewish ADL or other Jewish lobby groups and etc. It's so sad that these folks are fooling people into giving money (thanks givings), the church fools the attendance into thinking that the money will be put into good use(Yeah right) when it gord in pockets of the preachers, deacons and etc.

Death To Spookism
the laws in the old testament were banished when Jesus died on the cross and created a new blood covenant

Matthew 5:17

Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.

:mjpls: And who is THEY to say you can't think for yourself?

"THEY" said the same thing about THE GOSPEL OF THOMAS and 50 other books THEY disagreed with because they empowered man against the LIES the church taught

3. Jesus said, ......"If your leaders say to you, 'Look, the (Father's) kingdom is in the sky,' then the birds of the sky will precede you. If they say to you, 'It is in the sea,' then the fish will precede you. Rather, the (Father's) kingdom is within you and it is outside you.-Gospel of Thomas

Sounds like Buddhism, then again Jews are of Indo-european stock and Buddhism, Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, Christianity were all influenced by Zoroastrianism

Elaborate more on that please.
Its just energy we put out... positive attracts positive and negative attracts negative on a social level. I do fukk with law of attraction, where you real positive one day, and everything seems to go your way...
But negativity? who knows how that shyt operates... Think of positivity as matter - it works in a way we can comprehend. Scientists have done a hell of a lot of shyt with matter. But negativity? Thats dark matter breh. That shyt is an enigma. If negativity worked the same way as positivity, we wouldn't see sociopaths succeed time and time again.

Don't apply the laws of matter to dark matter. Maybe we do get rewarded for positive actions, but aint nobody getting punished for negative actions:childplease:

like I said, the universe is chaos... we'll never understand it as a whole, but we do understand that positivity has its own rewards, and thats what matters :ld:

I don't agree with Kendrick here because Churches do teach the hard truth of God's judgement. They teach that you will burn eternally in Hell for wrong doing.

What should be called out is The Church using The Bible to control masses of people. I mean, there's pastors/priests/bishops/elders etc. that will spin Scriptures to get members of the congregation to do whatever they want. They will leave out the Scripture that spells out the penalty for shepherds misleading the sheep though. Even crazier is that they will play on the congregation's ignorance because they know most if not none of them will ever pick up the book to read it for themselves. They know they will count on the pastor to spoon feed them and believe the pastor's spin on the Scripture because it sounds good.

While the church does teach the hard truth of God's punishment, even that doctrine is on error. The lake of fire is the final judgement, which is the place where even Hell will be cast into.
