You can but it's funny when people that don't like him or the song have the most posts in the thread like Ms. Elaine and Napoleon:skip:
And then they'll tell US we need to go outside and experience life :dead:

They better be getting paid by the post. It's too embarrassing to imagine otherwise :dead:

its funny how nikkas overanalyze every Kendrick song.. its just a lead single, let the shyt breathe..

I dont recall nikkas back in 2001 overanalyzing ''Got Yaself a Gun' which was Stillmatic's first single :yeshrug:
That should let you know Kendrick is doing something right. He has those big expectations and the pressure on him that the greats get.

And Humble is a step in the right direction for Kendrick, because he hasn't had the Statement lead single yet. Having that accessibility in your music is important, because it can't all be deep messages and conceptual songs. He's dodged that by dropping i and Swimming Pools. He needed to have his Can't Tell Me Nothing/Power lead single moment. Drake had his with Started From The Bottom and Over. This looks like that, and it's a good sign that he's ready to go all the way for the crown.

Ok :yeshrug: ...that wasn't what we were talking about tho? Fact is many people see at least a few of those listed as definitive classic rap albums, and none of them sold millions or had any of those artists in the charts except for maybe the first couple weeks of release, numbers and worldwide popularity don't define everything.
Saying what "many people see as" = another form of popularity so stop while you're behind.
If i say a project aint shyt and you cite what "many people see as..." as a form of rebuttal
But when i site what many people supported/didnt support and you dismiss that as popularity not mattering, you look stupid
