Kendrick has better artistic vision when it comes to his albums overall but noone is gonna tell me he’s a better rapper than Lupe. Im pretty sure if Lupe wanted to tone it down when it comes to being cryptic he can def do so. And still come out with the better verse.

deck was part of the greatest collective of all time. its an unfair comparison because they are two different artists. one is a solo artisyt, the other is a legendary mc who as part of a 9 man crew gets the props for the entire thing, for better or worse.

lupe writes a variety of different songs. simple ones. complex ones. deep ones. emotional ones. etc. is he the best mc? not even close but lyrically if you have no respect for him, your deaf or a hater.
