nikka u talkin about Atlantic,I've witnessed them ruin nikkas...not sayin the artist on Atlantic are putting up to much resistance....but if Atlantic see u get succesful with a certain type of song they gon try to get u to bring them more of that,not give u creative freedom....Plies debut album,mostly street records but has success with Shawty....next thing u know songs pandering to a female audience litter the next cd's
.....Fab has success with the chick songs and we all know how that went...Lupe has success with Superstar and proving he could make a commercial smash they label heads get to thinkin"

They have Grand Hustle as well . However they have a history of pulling major label B.S , and a history of showing a lack of appreciation towards hip hop .

Atlantic obviously want things a certain way. They've shown they have bowed to political pressure in the past . They wouldn't want to shake things up and perhaps that's why they made Lupe water down his music .
He was told specifically not to 'go too deep ' on the record . MMG make the same 2 songs repeatedly and therefore are a streamlined package for Atlantic to sell .
TDE , Interscope and Aftermath are obviously homes for artists that can have more freedom and have made a living off stirring up controversy . Unlike Atlantic.
