I didn't mention anyone. Why don't you post some of drakes best bars for us to judge tho :sas1:

I'm not interested in you judging really . You're clearly a stan alias not capable of being objective even if you hate Drake if you're objective you can admit drake quotes resonate the most in Hip Hop.

I don't think kendrick has ever had a track as quoted as say back to back. Just a random throw away not attached to a project.

All facts no debate breh. But as I say you're an alias so you aren't really trying to admit you're wrong regardless of info presented or what you know the truth to be in real life.

I'm wasting my time Matter of fact. Let me just mute you so I'm not tempted to engage the BS

Drake raps about success, partying, and women from a melancholy and almost stressed out point of view. I think his subject matter is kind of limited but lots of respected rappers have limited subject matter as well. I find his relative unhappiness aspirational, which is why some of the recycled topics still resonate with me. Despite what he has he still is unhappy, there's a certain hunger and dissatisfaction that I appreciate I guess.

:yeshrug:

As far as people listening to him, in Louisiana Drake gets a lot of love.

rosenbergs are annoying and insecure as fukk.

Oh, and didn't click. I don't need rosenberg tales on a genre they don't understand or care about. :umad:

Lame ass Aubrey stans still can't admit that he's regressing. With them it was always about the #'s. But I guess those same #'s are lying tho.

I find it strange that since Drake broke out on the scene in 2009, almost 10 years later he's still rapping about the same shyt. A 30 year old man who is still as self-involved as ever, whining about how his exes have the nerve to move on because, well don't they know he owns them? He has never displayed any concrete, eloquent opinions about anything happening outside of his immediate circle. He cares about nothing outside of his crew and his haters. He has not truly articulated an opinion on any sociopolitical topic besides "fukk Donald Trump" and a quick shoutout to police brutality when Meek had his back against the wall. Again, this is a 30 year old man with this limited subject matter...you should become LESS self-involved as you get older, not more.

And as far as his rap skillset, he's not evolving there and has indeed been stagnant for quite some time. Then you've got the ghostwriting scandal; I think he's been choosing to go it alone writing-wise since the QM exposal and you can see the stark difference. VIEWS really shined a light on Drake's weaknesses.

I've enjoyed some of Drake's music in the past but it's really becoming quite obvious that he's a shallow and selfish guy, an empty shell with very little substance as a person or as an MC. And in a desperate attempt to defer his demise, he's trying to latch onto and ride any wave he can to stay on top, even if it results in cheap imitation Carribean elevator music for quick hits or latching on to Grime rappers trying to ride their movement to remain seemingly relevant and edgy.

It is becoming more and more obvious every day: Drake is NOT a top MC, and him trying to play both sides won't work for much longer. He either has to take rap more seriously, or go full pop.
Ouch

Major lazer, then beiber started that sound in current music. Not Drake. Nobody in the US gives a fukk about Grime. You could post Instagram vids but for the most part people aren't checking for that shyt.

Assuming Drake writes most of his stuff, he's gotten way better as a rapper. He doesn't sound like a Lil Wayne wannabe anymore. He's also been able to simplify he's lyrics but still have you feel them. Noticed he's put more bass in his voice since Take Care. I think Views is his best album but I wonder where he's going to go from here.
