Eminem. Macklemore.

Yeah, she's doing vocal blackface and can get the :camby: for that alone but let's not pretend that if she were more "authentic" she wouldn't be getting the same treatment.

If she was the female equivalent to Paul Wall she wouldn't be getting the same treatment.

For me its more about the fact she is an actor playing the part of a southern female rapper. If she was being herself, no one would be dissing Iggy as they are. None of that really has anything to do with her race. If she was actually from the south, had a southern drawl, and came up through hip hop then she wouldn't be getting scrutinized as she is regardless of her race.

But being she is from Australia, was a wanna be Britney Spears and then when that failed decided to play the part of a rapper, I just can't respect that.
People were shytting all over that v nasty chick calling her a fraud but people that actually know her say she's authentic so idk man

nikkas just sound bitter and salty as hell imo

Nope, fucc it.

I got no problem with her having a platform to say her rhymes
and get money and all that. There's enough room in the rap game
for everybody.

But she don't respect the game, and she says stereotypical chit
on social media all the time with reckless abandon. I know more of
that than I know her rhymes. If you say something, you gotta be ready to ride for
that chit. So let her ride or let her die. These people defending her
are only making it worse because we could've forgot about this broad by now
if they would stop bringing her up...

It works on both sides tho..all these people focusing on this goofy bytch whether positive or negative is making is worse...if it aint someone defending her..its someone dissin her..I feel like muhfukkas need to keep it consistent as well...cause its a BUNCH of disrespectful ass artists out there who suck..get love..and just dont give a fukk about the culture or our people...look at the shyt Young Thug says...c00ns like that nikka need the boot as well..there is a bigger issue at hand than only Iggy..she's just a part of it..

Yeah, maybe in 2005. If Paul Wall had his mainstream breakout 10 years later I think he'd face the same backlash. And he's a genuine dude.

No, I don't think so...Paul is the same way we met him. He rapped with the same Texas drawl he talked with,
made decent songs, and he wasn't too good to freestyle. That, and we never caught him saying some ill chit
about people who might possibly buy his records.

All of that is the opposite of Iggy.

He's white though. In 2015 that matters.

As someone who grew up in Compton, Kendrick Lamar knows about tense exchanges with police officers. By his own reckoning, he was treated unjustly by the LAPD "plenty of times. All the time."

But in Billboard's latest cover story, Kendrick isn't going into details of any past trouble he may or may not have gotten into. "Oh, man, I won't be able to say that on record," Lamar tells Gavin Edwards. "I got into some things, but God willing, he had favoritism over me and my spirit."

But he sees those who haven't been so fortunate. Speaking to the tragic deaths of Michael Brown and Eric Garner, Lamar points to the historical baggage between cops and African-American communities.

"I wish somebody would look in our neighborhood knowing that it's already a situation, mentally, where it's f--ked up. What happened to [Michael Brown] should've never happened. Never. But when we don't have respect for ourselves, how do we expect them to respect us? It starts from within. Don't start with just a rally, don't start from looting -- it starts from within."

crazy how one hook from Charlie XCX made her a household name and she's been one of thee biggest talking points in hip-hop lately.
she's came a long way from getting kicked out of A$AP's crib, having to get a bus to be a guest on the breakfast club and constantly crying about labels to where she is now.

i honestly thought she'd never make it and now that she has made it, it all feels like some parody movie;

a white girl from a tiny town in the Australian outback moves to the USA with hopes of being a rapper after watching 8 Mile, goes through the struggle and strife that comes with being on the come up, tries the ratchet/sex route..doesn't work, is in the studio with some British singer and they are goofing around making a jokey song (Fancy sounds like a parody song to me) that the label hears and is sent to radio, goes viral and it hits it big....she faces backlash, people feel sorry for her and she goes on to win every award including the Grammy for best hip-hop album and best single...audience claps, Iggy cries...movie ends.

The only person who should be dissed for caping Iggy is TI.
Because he fired back at other black men and women and challenged the fair question about cultural appropriation:snoop:. He did it continuously and showed himself to be a fool by calling women who opposed her bedwenches, bitter faux-militant people, bitter dark skin people (Those messy radio interviews). Basic simple bamma shyt that you would expect from him.:upsetfavre:

With people like Kendrick, Nas, MC Lyte and Lupe Fiasco, they all pretty much only said they had no problem with her personally but they didnt go out and say people who were calling her out as being a culture vulture paranoid black folks or bedwenches or bitter black men and women etc. :whoa:

They've all to some varying degree felt the results of Hip Hop becoming whitewashed when they've made conscious records and not been rewarded for it or gotten radio play over what was popular despite all having pre-established commercial success and fan-bases. So they do share the same general opinions of her critics, its just they dont see her as being the lone problem with how Hip Hop has been marginalized. :manny:

At the core, that's the issue: People have made Iggy to be this bigger threat on her own than what she really is. And I get it, she's a white foreign woman appropriating black culture with fake fat ass and a phony back story of being 16 in the middle of Miami with no money no family:wtb:, she's the ultimate Cave bytch trap. She repeatedly comes off as someone who thinks anyone with conscious appreciating of the culture is just old and nerdy (look at how she approached Q-Tip, look at what she said she assumed Nas was having only known about Nas fans from the internet as being backpackers). Its ignorant of her, but she stays getting checked and is proven wrong anyway when she ends meeting those rappers, so its not like she's this clever threat. She's just a dumb bird wanting to be down :heh: and people are so driven to hate her, they end up hating other black people who disagree with them

In the meantime people gotta chill with refocusing their criticisms of her into attacks on other black men and women who dont have a problem with her. I see it way too much, calling them c00ns and flagrant shyt like that and ignoring the other things they do which prove they arent. Like right now, I see Kendrick getting dragged and some people other boards wanna make up some other stuff about ("I heard he dumped his girlfriend when he blew up" :pachaha:, "He's a safe rapper" "he's a new black anyway") and meanwhile y'all were kissing his ass when he dropped "I" a pro black commercial single at it's core which celebrated self and brough the focus back to us and was pretty defiant choice for a single and perfect for the climate at the time with everything going on. Now because he said this, he's not any of those things and the polar opposite? :rudy:

Ti the only nikka making money off this bytch but hethe only one who cant defend her:childplease:?nas threatened nikkas over the last white bytch so we can diss him cuz we know where he stands on violence against his own for white women:mjlol:...Lupe said "fukk black people" on twitter just last year...and mc lyte wanna eat her puzzy probaly:pachaha:...and i just left a thread where kendeick blaming black people and talking about "what about looting and black on black crime"

BUT i told yall these nikkas wuz phonies a long time ago, dezpite the fact yall think concious rappers "must be real:ohhh:".....that shyt is just a lane to these dudes....kendrick said it himself a while ago and i posted the video but yall swore that aint what he meant...sumtimes u gotta read between the lines breh brehs:sas1:

Its fine if its just a lane but dont hold these fake pastor azz nikkas up in my face and demonize other rappers who faking or just rappin about whatevers hot for the money....they all hustling:pachaha:

People hate her bcuz she is a white female rapper

nikki, aint doing sh*t for "the culture" if anything she's creating a new generation of thots but no one complains about her selling out and making pop music. And don't talk about her accent because Ross & wayne aren't authentic either.

I'm riding with Kdot & Nas on this one. Yeah she sucks but the hate comes from racism... I can't tolerate that.

Anybody who is trying to go against lupe, nas or kendrick for these comments is a racist and does not deserve to live. I hope they get cancer and die.

The only reason I'm ashamed to be black is because of our people.[/QU

This dude is ashamed of his heritage because a few Coli Nikkas shytted on some wack ass white bytch. Damn you new blacks are :scust:

She don't need our help she already has the complexion for protection, tired of black folks trying to take bullets for this bytch. Let her deal with her own haters like every other rapper has to
these black slave artists are just trying to protect their brand. i said the same thing in that other kendrick thread. and this is making it that much more obvious.
