nikkas in here hating on a classic HH album :smh:

I appreciate him pushing the envelope, and being innovative,

Most nikkas my age, in my generation have the attention span of a retarded goldfish so i honestly don't expect nikkas to be able to take this album in like that.

These are the same nikkas that call Young Thug hot, a nikka who no one even understands what he's saying so why anyone in here would take anyone's musical opinion in here seriously is beyond me.

I like surface music too. shyt That you don't have to think about. Face value shyt is alright. People like Drake do that and it's cool because it doesn't require any thinking, and most of the time those people don't listen to any other music anyway.

But I do love that he got back to the origins of HipHop. Not that he's the first person to take it there or anything. But fresh off of GKMC he was entitled to make a half ass surface project seeing that he dropped a classic already. Which is what most people do. Load up on hits and cash out.

But he did the opposite, and dropped a conceptually brilliant, cohesive album, combining historically black genres with modern Hip Hop. That's incredible. So I appreciate this album.

You sheep keep enjoying those monotonous hashtag anthems if you want. Kendrick is a class of his own and is the only mainstream HH artist that is flat out unpredictable. The only thing predictable about his music, the only constant variable in his music, is the quality. the quality will always be there and he proved that. Content wise, I don't know what To expect from him and let's be honest, who else can we say that about right now?

I know what Meek is gonna drop. I know what Drake is gonna drop. I know what WAyne is gonna drop. Ross too. I don't even know what to expect from Kendrick, other than high quality music. And that's priceless :francis:
You can expect some c00n shyt. You're welcome.

Your edited post is STILL wrong. You can't use the word gratuitious to modify the term self-aggrandizing when you've separated the two words with a comma.

You're not that smart (ergo why your dumbass went to some lower tier school). Just take that L and move on.

And don't bother replying, I'm placing you on ignore,

ya'll really need to stay on topic in this thread. For real

This thread makes me sad.

Quality music getting shyt on so people can continue to be shallow, turn up, and not think is just tragic, whether it's happening to Lupe/Kendrick/Cole/whoever.

The degenerates won. :wow:

They can continue on being degenerates until they get their wakeup call. That day is gonna be epic when people finally realize that the shallow music hindered their musical taste.

Albums wack, only hipsters is hypin it :yeshrug:
funny thing is, Kendrick didn't appeal to hipsters on this album so what hipsters are you talking about?. People hate the album because it's not full of bangers and simple hip hop production like Drake's latest "mixtape". Production is funk/jazz pretty much a modern day Stankonia and we already know of the lyrical content.. Ask people about Flying Lotus, Ron Isley and Thundercat and see the reaction you'll get. Take that shyt outta here and go listen to Drake and Migos :camby:

People didn't call FHD a light 6, recycle bin classic, or corny/boring?

:rudy: Guess I just imagined that.

They called him boring but the album still sold (first week sales outsold TPAB) AND he wasn't salty tweeting about it. C00bdrick is a herb.

funny thing is, Kendrick didn't appeal to hipsters on this album so what hipsters are you talking about? He could of easily pulled a Kanye or Drake and made an album with 6 singles but that's not his style. :what::mjlol:

Never argue with a K.Dot fan. They can present any kind of bullshyt argument with a straight face.

And for the record, Kendrick can't do what Drake does, he doesn't have the charisma or presence. Similarly, Drake can do what Kendrick does. They are on different lanes.

Except it's not happening to Cole but ok
Yea Cole was out there in Ferguson and NYC actually protesting and making powerful music about taking the chains off then performing it on a talk show in front of old cacs like a real nikka:salute:
Meanwhile Kendrick reciting poems to an imaginary 2Pac ghost about how black people don't respect their selves and thats the only reason why racism still exists:pacspit:

2 totally different type of nikkas right there, Cole has nothing to worry about since he's not trying to be a passive aggressive c00n
