funny thing is, Kendrick didn't appeal to hipsters on this album so what hipsters are you talking about? He could of easily pulled a Kanye or Drake and made an album with 6 singles but that's not his style. People hate the album because it's not full of bangers and simple hip hop production like Drake's latest "mixtape". Production is funk/jazz pretty much a modern day Stankonia and we already know of the lyrical content.. Ask people about Flying Lotus, Ron Isley and Thundercat and see the reaction you'll get. Take that shyt outta here and go listen to Drake and Migos

Didn't say Kendrick is the only artist using jazz/funk production. Just saying it's dumb to use the hipster card just because everyone doesn't have the same opinion... I was ready to cop on Sunday night - found 20 bucks on the floor and went to Target and they wanted 16.99. I'm not paying that much for a CD and it has nothing to do with being broke or not wanting to support the artist. I'm just not paying that much straight up - I've paid less for double albums. The cheapest I've seen is 13.99 on Amazon and even I think that's still high. I will cop soon enough but I'm in no
