Kendricks contradicting himself. Why would he make an album like that and expect huge sales. He didn't keep it simple enough.

That's because he's full of shyt. He likes to pretend like he's above being mainstream and he's all about the music but deep down, he cares about the raw numbers. He doesn't want to end up broke once more.
