I don't even know why I think I can have a decent discussion on the coli :snoop:

nikkas calling rappers c00ns just because Taylor Swift happens to like his music. Who gives a shyt about Taylor Swift?

If Kendrick is a herb because white people happen to like his music, what does that make J Cole and the dozens of trap rappers yall dikkride :mindblown:

What about Pac and Jay? White people love California Love and Empire State Of Mind. I guess they're herbs. #colilogic
I said in a other thread white people were bumping NWA albums... guess they were herbs too :mjlol:

Why can't white ppl (Taylor Swift in this case) like pro black music and support pro black causes? Its not like she's saying I love these slave hymns. Just like it took MLK and the like to get blacks equal rights its also took JFK and LBJ, white people who sympathized with the black struggle. Y'all really act like a white person can't genuinely like "black music" and if they do its a poor reflection of the black artist.

It takes a certain type of white person to listen to a REAL pro-Black song and not feel threatened. whites were not feeling that 'Fire Squad' track and Rolling Stone HATED joey badass' album. Real radical, pro-Black shyt makes whites uncomfortable because it talks about overthrowing the current systems in place. That's not some shyt you can just turn your brain off and listen to and enjoy because it's 'black music.' C00ndrick isnt talking about shyt so whites can listen to it guilt free and bop their heads along while they pretend they understand 'the struggle.'

That's the other problem. Kendrick is too mainstream for the people that would've fukked with this album. If it was some little underground album without the media love everyone would be on it. Even Kanye wasn't allowed to stray too far with Yeezus.
Maybe these nikkas will get the clue to stop "straying":banderas:...Dude had a good blueprint going with GKMC,as a artist you can do what you want but if people prefer what you originally gave them how is it they fault:dahell:...Oh we should buy the old album:rudy:? Sometimes change of direction works and sometimes it doesn't:manny:...I do think people don't hate this album as much as they put on though, but I think most of that is coming from all the classic talk from fans and critics....People feel like they need to go harder against this album because of all the praise.
And of course you have the Drake stans:heh:...Lets not pretend Drake doesn't want the props and respect Kendrick gets from critics and legends at this point, dude is a student of the game and obviously does. Yall can hype up his success if you want to like that's the end all be all,but if he don't push out some classic albums soon whats he really doing?Besides waiting on the day a competent mainstream hiphop artist knocks him out of his spot and we forget all about that nikka:why:.?Lets not pretend that nikka aint been hanging on by default and weakness of his peers in his lane.

No I'm one of those white guys who believes that we have enough racism in the world and supports races working together instead of bickering amongst themselves. Which is what the man really wants, stay focused on divisiveness instead of everyone being focused on working together.

Why would I feel threatened by the black power movement? This isn't 1949, I support all races embracing their heritage and move for advancement in all fields (social, economic, etc). We should want everyone to do better, we are all Americans and should fight for all Americans rights. When the water level rises everyone gets lifted up.

Well your right. But a big argument on here is that drakes fans are white and how Kendrick is so pro black white people hate this album . Its confusing

Is that really what we want though? Forcing artists to stay in a certain lane through sales seems like a good way to get a bunch of 1 dimensional rappers running around talking about nothing.

I'm glad Kendrick switched up on us. The people were expecting GKMC 2 but he delivered a totally different beast, something unexpected. I say we should applaud it, not shyt on it.

However, what it sells is what it sells. :ld: Either Kendrick will feel he accomplished his goal and continue to do whatever he wants comfortably, or his confidence will be hurt. If he allows that to happen. shyt's gonna get worse before it gets better. Hopefully he's secure enough to realize that selling lower would be the expectation for such a left field album, and move forward.

But I'm with you on Drake. These dudes are more insecure than Drake himself, I enjoy Drake music but damn most Drake stans are unbearable. :mjlol:
