GKMC was and I still will say overall it was his best, he had multiple hit singles, had some experimental shyt touched all angles and it’s what catapulted him to where he is now.
What were the pop friendly/mainstream songs on GKMC?
Damn he got beats from Mike Will Made It, and there was a lot more singing on the album.

I didn't say nothing about it being "convoluted" or "complex" so I don't know why tf you quoting me going off about some shyt nobody actually said.
When I say the album is not easily digestible I just mean its not easy to sit and listen to. Songs like We Cry Together, songs where he's barely whispering over a beat, just shyt that is not easy to kick back and enjoy. It's not a album where you can easily plug in the aux and listen to in the car, or throw on at the gym. YOu gotta be in a certain mindset or mood to sit down and actually get through this entire album. It's not what people are expecting or wanting in 2022.
Being in a certain mood and "digestable" is not the same thing so you should have used a different word.
You could have just said "you need to be in a certain mood."
Learn to explain yourself instead of just throwing words around to make a post.

Damn only had 3 singles: humble, loyalty, and love but you could dna, yah and element imo. So even in my eyes but evidently didn't fit the single quality prob bc DNA is a harsher humble and yah is slower and more esoteric. Element would have made a nice single though
I'll say that damns singles didn't last or have nowhere near the same impact gkmc's did. Humble hit hard. Loyalty did decent. Him putting out the videos definitely helped but I don't think none stayed like they planned
