He's being very clear...he's interested in expanding his brand.

If you're trying to do that, why would you not roll with Roc Nation? Isn't that really why Jay started that aspect of the company in the first place..to lend his OWN huge name to others in assistance with THEIR brand-building?

Also, wouldn't Durant know best if his brand is already well-established enough? Like, it's amusing here...how in the world can cats on a message board so conclusively profess to be familiar with the financial and marketing situation of someone they don't personally know?

The whole ENDEAVOR is about name-branding, let's be real.

I was a marketing major breh. I know all about that shyt. You create a brand to acquire the things KD has. If you ask a rookie in the NBA like Harrison Barnes about why branding is important it would be to get the opportunities that KD has already capitalized on. Stop with the branding shyt please. YOU CREATE A BRAND TO GET ALL OF THE OFF COURT OPPORTUNITIES THAT KD ALREADY HAS. No need to worry about branding if you already have the results of creating a brand.

Whether you want to admit it or not Jay Z is one of the most influential black men in the world. Sue me for embracing the idea of black athletes wanting to align with other successful black people. It may not be a big deal to you but its significant to me. There are black coaches in the NBA but that doesnt mean there are ENOUGH. I personally enjoy seeing black people with money connect with each other.

No Limit sports is a false equivalency... They were a mom and pop agency.. Roc Nation Sports is a subsidiary of one of the most powerful firms in all of entertainment...Again you're not even arguing any of my points...What are we doing here?

My only point was that if this succeeds then I promise you William Morris will create something like Young Money Sports and use Baby, Nicki and Drake as bait to hook young Black athletes... (just an example)
