you fukking idiot... this is not about Jay-Z ( the clear point you haven't got), it's not about race either.... it's about these groupie ass athletes.

all these black rappers, athletes, models and actors are already in the same circles... this shyt aint new....what "idea" are you embracing? Have you taken a look at courtside seats during the NBA playoffs?

deep down, pro athletes are the biggest groupies out there....and this shyt is really proving this to be very much true.

"fukking idiot".. You getting highly upset for no reason :heh: You are the one that posted repeatedly throughout this thread that CAA is the largest agency. Is Jay Z a major factor with them signing to CAA? Sure but the benefits to signing to the largest agency includes other perks and incentives. At the of the day who gives a fukk why athletes jumped ship from their old agents if they arent downgrading? you just a miserable man that loves looking for reasons to talk shyt about people. Your hate for one man has caused a petty back and forth argument that has zero substance.

No Limit sports is a false equivalency... They were a mom and pop agency.. Roc Nation Sports is a subsidiary of one of the most powerful firms in all of entertainment...Again you're not even arguing any of my points...What are we doing here?

My only point was that if this succeeds then I promise you William Morris will create something like Young Money Sports and use Baby, Nicki and Drake as bait to hook young Black athletes... (just an example)

There is precedent to how these things work.. I don't see how you can disagree..

-So why didn't a big sport agency at the time approach No Limit Sports for a partnership since they were "hot," to attract young talent?
-Why haven't MMG or CMB partnered with a sports agency to do this a couple years earlier when they were "hot"?

Roc-a-fella and Live Nation agreed on a partnership to form a company that includes music/distribution/touring, not sports.
Roc Nation and CAA has a partnership. One company approached the other company to create a new agency

The common factor in these business moves are Hov, give credit where it's due. He's not there just to be a "face" of a product like a sneaker or to attract young talent

No way William Morris will approach Young Money or MMG to make those kind of business partnership moves just because "Hov was successful at it," just like Gza and Power wouldn't be approached by William Morris for such a joint venture when the Wu was "hot"

It seems like it's hard for you to view Hov as more than just a rapper/entertainer. It appears you are trying to portray him as just a "face" and not the brain behind many of his successful and unsuccessful business ventures

what are you even talking about?

you're literally taking the posts i've made, and saying the same thing i've been saying....like you're saying something I didn't.

It's like you don't get that these athletes have latent groupie tendencies, and shyt like this brings them to the forefront.

you've been getting sonned this entire thread, and yet you still don't get it.

Thats the thing bruh, you havent sonned shyt. Dont let daps from cacs on the first page go to your head. You are trying to bash these athletes and im defending them, I dont think either of us are going to change each others minds but we both have too much foolish pride to stop responding to each other :manny:

Since the headline mentions Creative Artists Agency’s involvement in Durant’s future representation, it is currently assumed that CAA will be in charge of all team contract negotiations while Jay-Z’s Roc Nation Sports will handle Durant’s affairs off of the court.

Jay-Z Signs Kevin Durant To Roc Nation Sports. Rival Agents, Are You Not Entertained? - Forbes

This is what the partnership boils down to. CAA is strengthening their already powerful agency by handing players' contracts while Roc Nation handles the off the court/field/diamond business. I'm sure that Jay will be including Translation, the ad agency he owns with Steve Stoute, to assist with doing the Roc Nation Sports side of these players dealings.

Jay is building is own conglomerate, gotta salute that. There aren't too many, if any, Black owned ones out there.
