I'm emphasizing the importance of Steph Curry to KD's success. over-emotional gatekeeping from u. but im tired of nikkas on here saying he was the best player on those teams, when he directly benefitted from Steph's inherent presence on the court. Even thru all the quotes and instances in the finals of Ty Lue going out his way to stop Steph and keep durant open, nikkas still say KD was better. I think they were both equally important to the chips, y’all needed KD to handle Bron. I never hear anyone outside the coli compare KD and Steph, shyt is so odd

It's more complicated than that. I think Steph is a more valuable player than KD, but Steph without Klay and Draymond has had his share of difficulties. But Steph isn't getting swept in the first round by this Celtics team, great defense or not.

Steph's an unselfish player. He doesn't sacrifice championships for FMVP trophies, unlike some people. Durant deserved them, but remove Steph from the Warriors and they're non-functional. Remove KD from the Warriors, and they might still win or win better.
