You aren't wrong but at the same time...at some point we gotta acknowledge how broken NBA discourse is. And the major driving force is not sports media, it's sports entertainment media. Where former players say the most outrageous shyt imaginable about modern players, out of pure jealously and disdain for the modern game.

Barkley was a ring chaser at one point and wasn't "driving the bus." Barkley had an antagonistic relationship with reporters. Barkley was seen as unprofessional at some points. But now that his money is tied to the TNT platform he has done what most people do: get more conservative as they age and start shytting on younger people. It's corny.

I went to the mat defending KD a few days ago. I can't really do it again, after that game 4 performance. But I'm still gonna say fukk TNT, Shaq, and Charles.

At this point in life, I really dgaf about NBA discourse anymore unless I’m shooting the shyt IRL. I just laugh at it :russ: sometimes I still get irked by some shyt like when dude tried to argue CP3 wasn’t a transcendent player (I know he doesn’t believe that, it wasn’t entertaining, and it’s low effort for ratings which is why it got under my skin), but it’s all entertainment at the end of the day. I just care about what the hoop on the court looks like

Most of these nikkas takes are paid for anyway, and if they aren’t oh well it’s on the player whether or not if affects them. I just have my POV and keep it pushing. These nikkas don’t need keyboard warriors protecting them; KD (whether he believed it or not) already clowned that “legacy” talk himself.

He was a 33 year old all star averaging 19 and 13 that first season in Houston (because he sacrificed shots). The previous year he averaged 23 and 12.

And Durant was just starting his prime avg 28 and 8 the season before bus riding in Oakland

Come on man....cut it out

meh...he was 32. same age Kevin Durant is now

Chuck was on the downside of his career… and Pippen was washed…. sounds like you’re not old enough to have seen them play in that squad and using age(not sure why) to justify your point….. Sheeiiitt…. I think Chuck stayed hurt outside of the season when he got initially traded their halfway through the season

You can't be called a bus rider if you perform the best on the team. Shyt makes zero sense quit saying this dumb shyt. How is a dude that won finals mvp twice a bus rider? Like seriously that's trump supporters logic as in its illogical to even think that
