So predict what the next move is. It ain’t in next year’s FA class. He can’t know what the 2020 draft will bring. So he’s down to hoping he can convince some disgruntled star to join him which would cost the Knicks that young talent you’re talking about.

Seeing that it's pretty much an open secret that Kyrie is going to the Nets and the fact that Durant is giving the public his decision so quickly, I'm guessing the Nets is the team he's going to choose. Klay's rumored 190 mil contract w/ the Warriors pretty much seals the deal

I think he stays in Golden State. If he leaves, he's going to the Knicks. Doubt he's coming to the Nets unfortunately

When I heard Woj talking about how KD and Kawhi discussed teaming up, I knew damn well that wasn't gonna happen, but I made me come to a couple of conclusions.

1) Kyrie to the Nets was 100% happening

2) KD wanted to team up with Kyrie this whole time, but he wanted the Knicks. Kyrie most likely agreed to going to the Knicks with him at 1st, but then changed his mind and decided he wanted to come to Brooklyn. KD still preferred the Knicks, but once he realized Kyrie was dead set on the Nets, he stopped trying to recruit him. So he reached out to Kawhi in to inquire about teaming up. That obviously isn’t going to happen.

3) If KD leaves, he has to decided between going to the Knicks by himself (which I know he prefers not to) or come to Brooklyn with Kyrie. Mind you, KD is very self conscious. The reason why he’s leave the Warriors is to become his own man and repair his image. The problem with coming to Brooklyn is that with Kyrie already committed here is that it makes it look like he’s following Kyrie here. KD is on record saying that nobody can recruit him. Maybe he swallows his pride and comes. But if he’s gonna swallow his pride, he might as well stay in Golden State where he’ll get the supermax and be in a comfortable position.
