That’s perhaps the only thing you can say is a bad thing about this move. The Knicks would have coddled him from the scrutiny but maybe it’s a good thing cause at the end of the day, KD is a grown man that has to learn how to mature past caring so much what people think. The Knicks babying him would have backfired eventually. This man needs a break to truly deal with his insecurity issues and whatever else, not coddling and putting a bandage on a knife wound

But with money and fame involved, the league is definitely all business no matter where you go.
