look I met a lot of "big money" hustlers and dopeboys who were willing to pour thousands if not a million or two into a certain project for an artist
and wound up Wasting money..cause they couldn't establish a good relationship with a certain PD....DJ or LABEL HEAD..
it happens all the time...
guys I knew were taking penitentiary risks to just to get a single popping in the club's .....
only to get blocked regardless how much paper they had...cause the hustler didn't have any history or,someone to,vouch for him like an OG...OR simply cause the deejay has ties with their rival...or felt the hustlers wasn't connected enough or like in BMF Case...the FEDS told the labels and,deejays to NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.....
MEECH spent half a mill on videos that never got any burn on BET and MTV,because of that....
I personally know a baller who "paid" deejays from ATL to NYC to have a single played which had a nice buzz....
but because he told ONE fukkboy deejay to go to HELL
somehow the SINGLE got blackballed even though it had a feature from Jeezy
come to find,out that certain deejay was plugged in with DEF JAM so it never got cleared and the man lost 100s of thousands on promoting and the visual for it only to get BLOCKED...
So U see it's about RELATIONSHIPS
