he stated he worked in a lab, so it isn't really lying. He stated he went to school for ABC and still did work in the field (thus i have a background in ABC is a true statement). Lying would be saying I am certified/have a degree in ABC which I dont think he has done. Either way he could have been a DU Rag model, the focus should still be on the validity of the convo.
I heard you, but he made it seems as he was one of them STEM goons, when on paper he wasn’t. He probably was an intern being laugh at for not passing calculus.
As I said before when immigration reform happens, over the next few years you will see Hispanic women take over nursing jobs and corporate jobs that black women get and act like their shyt don’t stink. It will make more get in line and cooperate with men because
I feel like a lot of them are from the UK too. They love to always mention England/UK on there with says even more that most of them are mostly not black Americans
And the amount of traffic and members on the site is crazy. The context he provided was the Cancer is what changed his path (coming near death and probably seeing that path wasn't for him). Being near death and making it out changes perspective on things.
He lied, but being aware of the ways black men are insulted in higher education and often times forced out of college, him dropping out is moot, especially since his advice isn’t how to navigate engineering spaces. He educates black men how to navigate predominately white spaces, in general. I personally think he should return to that avenue. I keep seeing his following getting dragged on twitter for faux pas.

when I was watching his old videos on YouTube, I was under the impression dude made it because of his accomplishments as an engineer, in a way I was happy for him and for encouraging people to go the STEM path instead of those damn useless humanity degrees. Is aight, he still putting in work for us man.
If I did 3+ years of a hard ass degree like chemical engineering, got a job/internship in the industry and made the choice not to finish it...ya damn right I would still be touting that shyt and adding it to my resume.
in one of his older videos, he said he made grounding breaking research in his field for a cell phone company in terms of engineering....idk how true it is but thats what he said

He never gave the full story. He's human, nobody wants to reveal something that may be a ding, but it wasn't a good look. Especially if you have a talking point of useless college degrees.

Roasting will never get old, but giving people something to sink their teeth into is what gets longevity. You get too gimmicky and your popularity can burn out and become a joke, like how when Jerry Springer was hot it was the hottest thing on TV, but after its time passes it's not going to do numbers anymore.
And in this day and age people definitely have no shortage of options for their attention. Like you mentioned, Tommy was doing numbers, but you make a couple bad left turns and accidentally max out your potential too early.

Yeah, I don't see his shows for the men coming back anytime soon, and I'm actually OK with that. Because if you think about it..men make for bad entertainment (imo), and what I mean by that is, when a man is being lectured in general, we actually sit down and take-in the information with a few questions here and there.

Women generally can't take criticism, so their reaction is gonna be pure fukkery. With men, you can tell us where we fukked up and how to fix it, and we'll be good.
So like @Treblemaka and a few others said, this is mainly for entertainment. You can roast a man in front of millions, but his reaction won't be as entertaining.
