Here's how I look at relationships and marriage....even before I ever knew who KS was:

A lot of women today don't want to settle into that wife role, because even "beta/soft" men are going to require certain things from their wife if they are handling all the "man shyt" and paying for at least 80% of everything.

Year 1: Getting to know who you are, decide on if it's going to be exclusive.
Year 2: Plan for engagement, actually get engaged.
Year 3: Actually get married.

If either person doesnt want to get married, then after year 1 it needs to end or move to a FWB situation since you've probably been fukking for several months now. I have the marriage conversation even If its informal, with every woman i have interest in. all you gotta do is ask if they ever thought of being married or were they engaged, after like a month or so.

Three years is a long time unless you're in your early 20s.

This is completely too organized for regular day relationships lol but I heavily agree that being mindful about your own end goal and vocalizing it with women from early is necessary. Most millennials usually last about 3 years in a relationship (makeups, breakups included) and it usually doesnt result in anything except a lost experience- There's a Reason Why the Average Millennial Relationship Is So Short

I do however think it makes sense to have a sense of a deadline if you’re with someone and things are actually working out. I seen folks I went to high school with be done after 5,6 sometimes even 7 years and no engagement happened. If

Like, someone makes a good point on a topic, but because the person making the point is white, gay, ugly and or fat or whatever now that person’s POV shouldn’t matter. Instead of actually listening and appreciating when people speak good advice online.

But, this spoke to me.

I've been fukked up since my mom died last year and really since my brother died in the 2010 (she died around the 10th anniversary of his loss).

I can't talk to my dad cuz he's on that man up shyt (whether he admits it or not--he's upset at how I've dealt with it) and all my male cousins have families, now (not trying to burden them).
