I certainly hope so.:mjlol: 80% of babies to 18% of men, huh?
:mjlol::mjlol::mjlol::mjlol::mjlol:
Have a good one and will be back in this thread on Monday.

As I anticipated, my colleagues laughed their asses off.
:laff::laff::laff:
They want to know where this statistic came from and needed some follow up information. Namely, how many men between ages of 15-44 are fathers in the U.S? How many children are there in the U.S. ages birth-18? What percentage of men have 1 child, 2 children, 3 children and so on?

They gave me a quick theoretical example of why this is so absurd.

Instead they hypothesized that the majority of men were fathers to the majority of children but a few men had higher numbers of kids and that this was the same for women.

I’ll update when they get around to taking a look at the real numbers. Might be a while because we got other manuscripts to work on but at the very least they got a pretty good chuckle.

In the meantime, does anybody know where the original study for this claim came from so I can pass it along. They would like to look at it.

"Black men aren’t significantly more or less likely to have children than other races; census reports show that about 75% of white men, 80% of Black men, 81% of Asian men, and 83% of Hispanic men ages 40–49 have kids. On average, Black men have or expect to have 2.4 children; that number is 2.5 for Hispanic men, 2.1 for white men, and 2.0 for Asian men, according to a 2010 report. We can conclude that fatherhood is equally important to Black men as to men of other races."

i have no idea where u guys get your % on fatherhood. most men become dads in their 30s. if you are referencing the 20s or teens age bracket then there will be these low figures for any race. a quarter of bm in their 20s being fathers doesn't mean they are the only fathers for all the kids under 18.

Thanks for this. I was trying to figure out where the stats came from as well.

Yo, we got plenty of pages in this thread. For the brehs/brehettes that consistently post, we all watch for a reason. Let's shift things a little bit.

Where are you at in your life in relation to these kinds of principles and where are you trying to go? i.e., You HVM, HIT Squad, or Henry :ohhh: Trying to lock down a high value woman :blessed: Disgusted at the dating pool :scust:A brehette trying to catch you a HVM :usure: In the Danger Zone? :mjlit:

What's the good word.

As I mentioned, I'm married. We just had our 12-year anniversary. More focused than ever on investing and income streams so that I can get where I know I can. Became addicted to the stock market this year and outside of dollars and cents, my mind is increasingly wired to only do things that bring me value and help with what I'm trying to build. Aside from wanting to build for myself and my future kids, tired of not being able to cash my lady out as much as I dream of for being so down and loyal. She doesn't ask for shyt either, but as a man, I want to reward her more for being who she is :wow:

There's no right or wrong responses. We all seem to be like-minded about a lot of shyt so just checking where y'alls heads are.
