Living for the moment. Many in our community don’t think long term, at all. Not concerned about the community, not concerned about legacy, no concerns whatsoever besides what is going on NOW.

Same women(and men) will be out marching and performing activism on behalf of the community. It’s no wonder we don’t get shyt done now. Same folks who are only concerned about the now, are the same ones fighting for us in the public.

We had a slow night at work last night so I was able to watch the show live and I was cracking up hard and loud during that part. Coworkers were looking at me like I was crazy! Kevin can be hilarious at times!

I noticed these sistas who get love from the dominant society are kinda delusional when it comes to where they really are.

We know where we stand. I knew some girls think I am ugly and I know some who think I am the finest man on the planet in my younger days. I was never confused. I knew I looked goofy cute. The Chris Brown, Will Smith, Bill Bellamy types that some girls like, some others don't. Never a pretty boy but I always could eat at the best restaurants and didn't have to worry ever about where I am at and who I am with.

Yo, man. Kevin's show is starting to become really troubling. If he had a Jerry Springer or Maury vibe then I would expect the circus that it brings, because that's the demographic. But he doesn't give off that energy and is drawing from a large pool of people to the point that you'd think there would be more reasonable calls.

We're watching a generational, poisonous mindset play out each and every night

Breh getting irritated. He getting calls from clearly low value older women with nothing to offer plus kids and they acting like fans when they are the problem and they aren't learning from the other callers who fit their same paradigm.

This is why being a teacher is hard. It should be easy but these mfers are hardheaded and ain't listening and there is so many of them out there too.
