one of my cousins who lives in Jamaica is around 40 years old and for years her aunts and other women in my family always criticized her for just staying at home all day and not working. she never went to college or has any type of skill. since she was young she was married to this man who was a older than her can't remember if guy was in his 40s or 50s but they ended up having four kids together over the years . One is 19 and the other three are all less than 10 years old


The husband would do most of the working and it wasn't a high paying field either, he would mainly work in hotels and travel back and forth and save money to bring back to the home. She just sat on her ass most of the time, im not even sure if she cooked but i doubt it i didn't ask them about that but basically she didn't pull her weight.

so 2 weeks ago the husband who she been with forever since she was in her late teens at least....turns out he passed away. Apparently he was sick since around December and at first they thought it was covid but recently my family has been saying he died from pancreatic cancer.

Now my broke cousin has been reaching out to everyone asking for help with donations and im here wondering what did she spend all these years doing. I don't know if he left anything but i do know he was working like crazy, so i put more blame on her.



This is why I wanna say we can't take what Kevin Samuels say too literal about men should pay for "EVERYTHING". Because situations like these happen where men end up with a woman who takes advantage. And at the very least if you are gonna stay at home and cook and care for the kids, you should at least have your own education/degree or homemaking skills to fall back on if something were to happen to the husband

To respond to you above that’s the thing if they do that and have a 5-10 year old degree with no recent relevant experience who gonna hire and pay them worth a damn? If all office and retail fell off a lot of these degreed up women would be in trouble. A lot of degrees are going to waste with lots of student loans behind them.

I usually don't share too much in this thread but I had to share this moment, talking to a lady, and she stated she wanted to become a CEO/owner for some type of business (she doesn't even have a business/LLC might I add, but whatever, this is what she wants. No harm, cool, live your life. She only wants to work 2-3 days out of the week and go on vacation.

I asked her some very logical questions,, how many workers/employees you want, what type of business do you want to have, business hours/days, you do know that you would have to train those workers/employees for you to even be able to work 2-3 days out of the week, not only train but trust and believe that shyt will be done right while you're not there. The dream you want, It doesn't happen overnight like how you're making it out to be. Many CEOs/owners, especially starting off, work more than 60 hours to make sure their business/company is doing exactly what it's supposed to be doing. You don't want to work the 40 hours now at the job you're on, so how are you going to work 60 hours plus running your own business, let alone train workers on how you want things done

Who is going to handle shipment, if you're doing business in the product/services/merch arena, who is going to handle inventory, you have to know where every red cent is going and coming into your business. Payroll. Security, if you're dealing in the product/services/merch arena, you have to worry about employees stealing, outsiders stealing. Finding deals. Making sure the product is delivered on time.

What is your hiring process, what type of workers do you want, do you know how to manage personalities? You don't even like people as it is now.


I was hitting her with all type of logical simple shyt, that she hadn't even thought about. Phone line got quiet and I found myself doing all the talking which I at that point, I knew, I was over-loading her mind.

Motherfukkers just be saying shyt and don't even think about the shyt that they be talking about. I mean she was all 100% with it on how everything would/suppose to work out. Even said that was her calling, that she's supposed to be a owner/CEO of some business

this is how a lot of New Orleans women talk. A truly successful business is hard work. If you not a workaholic don’t even think about being a “CEO” they work twice as much as regular people.

They want a lifestyle that begets 10-20 years of hard work, for starters. And they want it with 6-12 months of work not 6-12 years.

thats why i mentioned having homemaking skills at least. at least in that situation you can always make money from being a homemaker, skills that @HarlemHottie was talking about she does in the home. but this cousin of mine just literally did nothing. if i were to guess she probably ate alot herself but when he would be home probably complained at him not making enough money, even though she the one being lazy lol

Test comes back the kid is not his. He literally broke down. The camera panned to her and she was Well I am glad because you were not there anyway.


He was I was not there for the kid because I was IN JAIL FOR CHILD SUPPORT.

I was in Paris and in a few other places in Europe and seeing women that are just slim and how many changed my perspective. Even on tinder many of the girls weren’t that great looking but they mostly were slim and relatively fit.
