When I read the book and listened to some of her speeches, I didn't get that idea.

I found myself agreeing with many of the things she stated. She's getting this information from somewhere and it's totally opposite of what we are witnessing today which is dysfunction.

If you know history, women and men moved the way that she's describing her books.
Oh ok. I misread what you originally wrote.

Yeah I can understand that. I think,personally, that the focus on the career is bs. Nursing ain’t moving and shaking like that. Postal workers don’t say, “I was focusing on delivering my packages so much that I haven’t dated or worked on cooking, being cooperative/conflict resolution, going to the gym…”

Agreed. I think that's the overall point KS is trying to make.

He had to call it a job so women can stop acting like its some big ass CEO of Sony type of career where they can't focus on anything else but working 40 hrs a week.

I understand both people's opinions. I think there is conflation of "Career" and "Profession" is a whole other question.

Strictly For My Lurkas...
“and it’s going to continue to get worse the more men disregard the life of women. All that KS red pill shyt and some of the comments here got men thinking women are only worth sex. It’s sad how unsafe women literally are everyday just trying to be. Y’all continue to breed these demons. Black women are truly the most at danger the way they are talked about. Hope everyone educates the women in their lives and also the men. It’s time for the men left to stop all this demonic hateful rhetoric. This is the offspring of that shyt.”

:russ:

So we’re just gona not consider how it even got to that point? “Breed demons” continuing to yell at other groups that your not protected & having your resources ravaged. How is KS the common denominator when he’s promoting marriage and women getting back with their baby fathers, instead of being in these streets.

We’re gona ignore all the WAP/stripper/ Drug and rob a man, stripper, use him for the free dinner, flewed out, city girls rhetoric? Which can fuel these situations in the first place?
It's always men's fault especially if he's black...

I’ve said that numerous times on this forum. Women typically don’t want to work after a certain point.

At or around age 40 or after second child is born—whichever one comes first. Women above 40 in the workplace are some of the most miserable people you’ll come across. They don’t want to be there, but have to out of necessity because they haven’t found a man to retire them or their man doesn’t make enough to allow them to drop out.

That’s why a woman’s career and salary are meaningless in the grand scheme of things. That is, unless you meet her in her early to late-20s. Her runway making that type of money is much longer at that age, meaning more of an additive impact on the household income.

You meet her in her mid 30s? She’s abandoning that career and money in 5-7 years. But, still wants to maintain the lifestyle using your money.

This is exactly what KS means when he says as a woman your money doesn't matter. It's not essential to the household and you don't even wanna actually work as is.

My wife is in a real nursing school (clarification is needed) and nursing is damn well a career. It’s a lot of education and studying that’s compacted in a short time. You need a license to be considered an RN.

I vibe with KS but I completely disagree.

Someone just said career vs profession and that is more agreeeabIe.

too bad so sad lol. It would be one thing if they used that time to eliminate debt but the reality is during that time they rack up debt and weight and addictions
:russ::mjlol::mjlol::mjlol:

And think someone is going to retire them

That is exactly what happens. almost every single woman I see or see online whether she has kids or not is begging someone to save them from having to work so much, even the higher earning women.

Y'all saw that phone call with the woman with 3 kids? When Kevin gave that Christmas example:

If I wanna give my kid 1,000 I gotta split it with 3 other kids right?

BHzVFN6.png

This was that pure ether.

KS shows have been better I think him focusing on the 30-40 year old black woman is his stride. that's who needs his message the most. to admit their wrongs and go teach the teens and 20s what not to do.

:russ::mjlol:

Men dont wanna work 80 hrs but we do because its our nature, women feel that fire and reeeeeeal quick dead all that nonsense boss talk nonsense, but its too late they already 1-200k in debt from them degrees, that old ass benz, them weekly brunches, and tulum trips :lolbron:

Another thing I see is a lot of Black Women do not keep the same jobs for a long period of time, even would venture to say as they gain more edu and exp they job hop even more. anywhere from 6-18 months at a job and you hear a woman saying she tired of the job, sometimes even if she has real responsibilities (house/rent, bills, or kid(s)). regardless of whether they're single, seriously involved, or married. further subconsciously stating that they do not want to work.

they will jump out on faith and quit a job with no money, plan, or safety net. like, what the fukk? Waiting for a man to come save them and it becomes more and more urgent as each year passes. watch what happens during this decade. the desperation will be worse and worse as they get closer to 40 to 50 years old.

They like the women that comes from working and the lifestyle it affords them. But, after a while, they want to to maintain the lifestyle without having to work. That's what you are supposed to provide as a man.

A man's game demands a man's price. The working world is that of men. They wanted this now they want to back out. Nah. This is the equality ya'll wanted.
