What is there for us to do beside better ourselves? What issue is facing us that compares to the 60s and 70s. incarceration rates arent as in your face as black and white water fountains.
You're the one that said all generations. now all of a sudden there's nothing to fight for? how about laws which are lopsided and target us like stop and frisk, how about katrina, how about media portrayal, funny how you're making excuses, but past gens never had excuses, they were down for any fight in front of them and figured out ways to get it done during times when laws were placed against them and it looked impossible.

There is always something to fight for but as I already explained you are comparing apples to oranges in terms of the degrees of injustice the two generations were fighting against. Stop and frisk is regional, how is a Cali nikka gonna be passionate about something all the way across the country? It sounds insensitive but im being realistic. Back in the 60s we were being lynched, beat, etc all over so of course the collective unity was there. Katrina? Regional.. Media portayal? The fukk can we do about that? Again out of all the things you listed what is on the magnitude as the 60s? Present day America is far from a utopia but racism is veiled today, its not blatant in your face injustice unless your awake and know whats going on. If i wasnt on the internet so much i wouldnt even know about stop and frisk.

Last I checked Jim Crow laws were regional. :snoop:
You're asking what can we do? THAT is exactly what I'm talking about, you'd never hear a 60s cat say some shyt like that. There was no such thing as "what can we do", it was "here's what we're going to do"

This generation man. :snoop:

Right because only NY have laws which are like Stop and Frisk, there aren't similar bias laws in Cali and other States which target minorities. Quit acting dumb. :what:
I dont fukk with the police but ive never been stopped and frisked in the bay. Other than police brutality that catches headlines nothing compares to the constant harassment of 60s. There is nothing to play dumb about.

Ive explained my point numerous times. When I leave my house the most I have to worry about is getting followed in a store or maybe get caught driving while black then I go on with my day. While it pisses me off it isnt going to spark the same emotions as getting lynched, sitting in the back of the bus, etc..

If you were in oakland in the 60s you wouldnt have had to sit in the back of the bus nor would you have gotten lynched. Im done saying this point. :mindblown:
