i'm still on the fence about it, i'm no pro...i'm not counting frame data but at the same time i been Playing SF and other fighters for more than 20 years (yeah i played it first when i was about 6) i know BS when i hear it.

And people saying it'll be at EVO in a year are nuts. MK was never an Evo game until recently, DoA was never an Evo game. Just because its a fighter with an old name doesn't shoe it in for EVO...people still want to see Marvel and SFIV FIRST...hell i know more people who want that KOF grand final in the prime time right before marvel and not so early...

However, if the community complains to Wiz enough or the pros aren't fukking with it, he may either throw it in the bushes or relegate it to one of the less watched stream at an obscure hour

PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale didn't make EVO this year so I doubt KI will make it to EVO either. As mentioned in the Reddit quote, the FGC isn't that big on exclusives on either side cause it fragments the community.

Also Kratos and his stage are banned in Evo MK9 for that exact reason. Due to him being a PS exclusive, there were gonna be some players who wouldn't know the Kratos matchup, potentially leaving an unfair advantage, so they banned him and his stage altogether

Better yet...

That new DOA game didn't even make it to EVO and that's not even a year old, and has more of a following than KI. People calling it now saying it will be a game in EVO a year from now don't know what the fukk they're talking about. It's dependent on how well it fairs in the Road to EVO tourney's that lead up to EVO.

It's expected when the only people who are hyping this are Xbots who are casual fighting game fans to begin with.

When the fighting game enthusiats and veterans start showing excitement for this then it'll be worth the hype. It's too early to tell how the game will be received by real fighting game heads or if it'll be in EVO next year. Still can't believe somebody said that.

If FGC reaction is negative toward KI, sales decline, no new players, no patches, no DLC since the game isn't bringing money in

They also don't realize that pros have a lot of sway to a lot of non pros. If Justin Wong, Daigo, or any other big name pro said fukk KI a lot of non pros aren't gonna touch it. It will be all these non fighting game playing only playing KI cause its on the X1 ass nikkas fighting each other wondering when will they fix the unblockables and infinites

I wonder how many people who are for this game are actually gonna play this and not throw it in the bushes when Christmas rolls around and the BF4/CoD Ghosts population takes most of the casuals playing KI

Free to play with little micro transactions at $2-5 is ok, because everyone can afford $2-5 (at least most people playing the game)

when you start introducing transactions that are $20+ each no one wants to fukk with that.

at Marvel Heroes charging people $20-25 for captain america, iron man and thor type heroes PER HERO people started busting out their calculators and like this shyt is costing more if they would of just released the complete game at $60

then if you wanted to buy new looks for iron man (like different color iron man suits) it was $15-25 each suit (he has 8 different suits... it would cost $160 to buy all iron man suits that dont do anything but change how iron man looks )

Before xbox 360/ps3 these are things that would of came with the game already or would be put in later down the line... for free .. as a thank you to customers for buying their game and making them rich. Now these companies be like fukk yall , yall want 2 new maps ?! $5

ironically the only 2 free to play games to be real successful are PC only games, DOTA 2 and League of Legends.. they release shyt at $2-5 (sometimes at most $10) because they know 3 million people spending $2 for a new fighter is better than 1000 people spending $20 on a new fighter

then they release like 10 things at $2-5 a piece, and people are like "damn I can afford" this , each person done spent $10 on new shyt and thats how you create a successful free to play that will not only satisfy the customers, be competitive but also make you one of the richest gaming companies in the world almost over night

Yes the fighting game pros are important but I think like most hardcore gamers I think their importance are overrated to the overall gaming community.

Fighting games are different than "every" game moron. There's a decent fighting game community in Chicago, so when I look at a fighting game I'm only going to consider the ones that I can see myself participating in some tournaments in.

Even if this dropped on PS4 I wouldn't be that interested in it, because I know I wouldn't really feel like putting in the effort to getting good at it.
