A little darker than “slightly” are best but yeah, the taste of blackened edges can be off putting for the unrefined .

Buttery brown edges are best those are are more of a dark brown edges, then shyts op cooked are black that’s burnt.

Still beats the hell out of my breakfast today which was frozen waffles. .
