on face value, if you are an ill-informed cac you'd think Tucker won

but when you go verify and check facts... Tariq destroyed Tucker again. This is getting laughable

What facts did you verify and check?

Fox used to be able to play that morality, faux outrage card, but this election cycle really pulled their skirts up. Literally everything they claimed to hold sacred Ailes and Trump shat all over and they still defended him. So any guest that goes on their show has so many get out of jail free cards to pull on Fox.
Prior to Trump's election, the conservative media would be able to nail Tariq to the cross for his old stuff.

Not anymore, all Tariq has to do with mention all of the outlandish things Trump has said and did that they have brushed aside and supported in order to uphold White Supremacy. Fox has no type of moral grounds to stand on in arguments after Trump.
Those FoxNews guys let Megyn Kelly twist in the wind when she was getting bullied by Trump.
:lolbron:
They had a chance to support a coworker being bullied and harassed and they was like

Tariq did win but he looks like a fool when he talks about macking. He literally had a platform for this for over 10 years and now he is denouncing it isn't a good look.

With that said, Tucker played the wrong angle on this one. But discrediting Tariq's creditibility, he ended up looking like a fool when Tariq asked what is he doing to end systematic white supremacy. Tucker, hold that L

What you're missing is that if Tucker answered that question, he would have validated Tariq's claim that such a system exists, he continues to dismiss these claims because the true purpose of inviting Tariq on Fox is to incrementally paint him as a crackpot that blames everything on white people.

Tariq has a flaw in my opinion when it comes to dealing with white media. A couple flaws the more I think about it. One, unfortunately those womanizing books will always be his Achilles heel when engaging with Conservative media. In this day and age of non-thinkers and fast food information in the form of sound bites called talking points, his Mackin books make for a considerable red Herring.

Two, he comes off unprepared when engaging with Tucker Carlson. Like he's still learning the ropes of debating. A lot of umming and ughhing, lack of clarity, and a general sense of nervousness. Watch Tariq again and then watch the following and tell me which one would you rather have your back in conflict. I'll take Quanell.

Well, Quanell debates on a weekly basis. Tariq was much better on Fox this time but you should never dennonce shyt ever. Own that shyt

Well, isn't that part of the problem, we have a system of white supremacy and their #1 rule is to deny it. Neely mentions this all the time

I noticed that during the first interview. These aren't debates in Tucker's mind. He just want to make Tariq look as silly as possible. It's nothing new. If he was looking for an actual debate he would have questioned the information given in Hidden Colors.

Neely also mentions that these discussions should not be held in this manner and often uses court cases as an example why. You need time to make your case and lay out the evidence, a court trial can take years before reaching a verdict. Trying to do this in 7 minutes simply won't work and can work against you

What facts did you verify and check?

Tariq's actual statement. Tucker added to and took away from Tariq's quote to make it fit his narrative.
When Tariq stated that he didn't say that, you go back and check to verify. Turns out he did not say what Tucker said he did.

Tucker started this show the same way he did the last one, with a false narrative to frame Tariq into box. Tariq again deftly parried the attack and went into his on offensive push. Tucker then went into the out of no where ad hom with the book. This was an attempt to discredit Tariq, this would have worked if Tucker's first attack landed soundly. Because the fist attack fell flat, Tariq laughed off the Book attack and promptly called him out for his desperation.

It was a lunge that wiffed.

Tucker knew the 'debate' was over and laughed back, there was nothing more to really say.

I hope Tariq realizes they are going to keep trying to discredit him. Fox having him on is them acknowledging that his work is effective and they need to discredit him. This is the purpose for having him on there. It's not to debate. Tariq is doing well to use this platform to chastise White Supremacy.

They will keep coming at Tariq, until they get a win. I hope Tariq starts to plan for their personal attacks on him because they will come harder each time. He needs to minimize his appearances.

All he had to say was...."Tucker, I grew up in the streets, you ever grow up in the streets Tucker? Well I wrote a book, a series of books actually based off the code of the streets." And chastise Tucker for holding a mans past against him.

There is not a black man who has reformed himself that doesn't have western dirt on him. We gotta be able to turn a blind eye to certain crimes or indiscretions or mentalities forged out of ignorance. Nobody reforms themselves until they acknowledge that they are fukked up.
