Great hire. Gives a lot of what Thibs gives with more offensive creativity (go check Mike Brown’s Sacramento years). I think he will do well there.

You're not gonna see a similar offense with the Knicks tho. Brunson and KAT don't play like Fox and Sabonis. Knicks aren't gonna run like the Kings did that year either.

Definitely but Mike Brown has shown a lot of growth in his capacity to construct an offence overall. From CLE/LAL to now is night and day. He will find a way to make KAT dynamic, to utilize Brunson more off screens and to get guys like OG and Hart more off cuts etc.

Well the hope is that Brown learned a lot during his time with the Warriors.

And he did surprise a lot of people with a really good season at Sacramento in 2022-23.

It’s not the sexy hire but I hesitate to share the negativity of others about this move.

The Knicks are a joke. Mike Brown is nowhere near an upgrade on Thibs. Knicks downgraded their best coach in decades because a flawed team lost to a better one in a fairly competitive series.
