This 100%.Kobe has been in the goat conversation and at the end of the day it’s 2 names that are consistently put ahead of him. It’s the latter that Kobe stans don’t want to accept and they don’t HAVE to accept it. But not accepting that fact doesn’t change the reality and doesn’t keep Bron and mj from being ahead of him.
Give gramps a break he just learned how to post gifs . Next he will learn how to quote the right person when replyingI think you quoted wrong guy breh
nikkas can feel Kobe is the goat like how trump feels he won the 2020 election, whatever helps them sleep at night![]()
What are your credentials and resume to weigh into his topic ? Rodman is a DPOY and NBA champ. What have you done in life to make you more qualified than him to speak on this ?inefficient chucker facsimiles could never be the goat
Hell no Kobe isn't better than KareemThis 100%.
It also kinda seems weird that Kobe is automatically placed ahead of Cap now. Are we sure Kobe >> Kareem?
Magic? Not saying he's behind The Logo or Baylor but.....
Hard to call someone a GOAT candidate when they're not even the clear GOAT for their franchise.
.It’s MJ, Kobe then everyone else, basketball history will correct itself. This 100%.

The below are the players that I'd say are objectively better than Kobe:
MJ
Bron
KAJ
Russell
Then you have players who have a very strong argument for being ranked ahead of him:
Bird
Magic
Shaq
Duncan
Wilt
Then you have a couple "iffys" who COULD be ranked over him.
Hakeem
Curry (got 3 rings off the #2 GOAT, which prevented him from being the #1).
So Kobe could be anywhere from 5 to 12, which is about where he's always ranked. Personally, I'd put him over Bird, Magic and Shaq if we're talking on the court performance, but his lack of serious hardware besides rings holds him back severely.
).....but it also seems to have amplified as Bron gets deeper into the record books.Give gramps a break he just learned how to post gifs . Next he will learn how to quote the right person when replying

Mostly layups and dunks can make any player seem more efficient. What’s Bron shooting in the middy?See that's my thinking too.
He's Top 10/Top 15 level without question, but higher than that is bullshyt.
Bron has 4 MVPs and MJ has 6. Both of them could easily have more. We could argue about Kobe getting more when Nash won 2. Point is....the hype is all retrospective. If they thought he was THAT NIKKA, he should have had more. He was never in THAT conversation during his peak years (1999 to 2009). Considered among the best in the league, but I never heard anyone putting him on Mt. Rushmore until recently.
Some of it is because of his untimely death (RIP Bean).....but it also seems to have amplified as Bron gets deeper into the record books.
Bron is #1 in points and could catch Jason Kidd for #3 in assists. He's #6 in steals behind GP and could pass Rodman in rebounds. All while being more efficient than Kobe. He has played a long azz time but #1 in points and #4 in assists is crazy work.
Bron was better up close and from 3.Mostly layups and dunks can make any player seem more efficient. What’s Bron shooting in the middy?
The main job of a basketball superstar is to impact the game by leading a franchise to chips. To be considered the goat a superstar has to dominate his peers in the era he plays.
With that said, Kobe > LeBron
I have no issue if anyone thinks Russell is the goat, I think it’s MJ cause he checks more boxes. KAJ had Magic doing some of the heavy lifting and vise versa. Kobe/Tim did what they were supposed to do to be in consideration for goat.Bron was better up close and from 3.
Kobe was better in the midrange.
Stylistically, Kobe was nicer to watch.....Bron was more efficient. Would I rather have a midrange assassin or a guy that's elite up close and can get to the bucket at will while also being better from deep? Matter of preference.
For rings....by that criteria, Russell is GOAT. Dominated his era and won 11x. After that it's KAJ/MJ and then Duncan/Magic/Kobe.
Your boy went from being to “lebronze “. Bean changed the trajectory of USA basketball .the banana boat friends were all losers till bean taught them how to win . That’s all we need to discuss about “impacted the game” . A microcosm in his illustrious career :umad;Kobe doesn’t belong in the debate. He’s similar to a player that was clearly better.
The goat debate is between players of different sizes / playing styles who impacted the game in different ways.
we not the same
