You talking about losing to an old ass Dirk like Kobe didn't get swept by those same Mavs in 2011 and he was the same age as Lebron was when he got beat by the super Golden State.
Y'all talking about "Kobe don't win without Shaq" but the Heat/Cavs probably struggle to make the finals, much less repeat or win one for the land if Lebron isn't on those teams.
Kobe lost against the Pistons with Prime Shaq. How is that any less embarrassing than losing against Dirk or did two teams, with far less talent, manage to outplay/hustle their overconfident opponents in the finals?
If you gonna count Lebron's losing efforts, count Kobe's. Lebron getting mollywhopped by the Spurs, in 2007, in the finals ain't no worse than Kobe getting mollywhopped by the Suns in the first round that same fukking year. Hell, the Spurs were the eventual champions, at least.
Don't bytch about Lebron giving up against the Celtics while giving Kobe a pass for dropping a 3-1 lead against a 6'3 Canadian CAC and having one of the worst 2nd hands we've ever seen during a game 7 (By a superstar).
Be consistent with your criticism across both sides. Kobe has more rings, overall, but Lebron has more rings as the undisputed main man. If you out Kobe on those Cavs and give him the same help that Lebron had, he doesn't change anything. They'd still lose to every team Lebron lost too. You put Lebron on the Lakers, him/Shaq run the league but they'd struggle against the same teams and Lebron would still get beat out West until he got some real help. Phil would probably be better at developing Lebron and get him to work out his early career flaws.
For all this stanning and stupidity, no matter which way you side, the difference between Kobe and Lebron is minuscule, with minor advantages both ways.
Kobe's more technically sound, a more polished and explosive scorer, and has more versatile scoring skill set. Lebron's more physically gifted, less refined but more consistently dominant skill set, and is more versatile offensive player.
Kobe's an artist, Lebron is an architect. Kobe's goal is to break down his individual defender, Lebron's goal is to break down the defensive scheme (Drawing help or forcing the wrong rotation). It's funny because Kobe's most successful years are when he focused more on his all-around versatility and less on scoring whereas Lebron's is when he realizes he's an unstoppable scoring force.
Enjoy both of them and understand that neither of them are good as Jordan so stop comparing them to him.
The guy in your avatar says Kobe is the 2nd best player of all-time after Jordan and the best player of HIS ERA.
So please save me with this Kobe and LeBron are the same BS. Bron's best friend ain't even gonna say he's better than Kobe.
If ya man ain't even gonna back you up on this, it might be time to drop the subject.
