-- Kobe Bryant harshly criticized himself after his third straight poor performance to open the regular season, his 20th with the Los Angeles Lakers.
"I'm the 200th-best player in the league right now," Bryant said after the Lakers' 103-93 loss to the Dallas Mavericks at Staples Center on Sunday, during which Bryant scored 15 points on 3-of-15 shooting from the floor. "I freaking suck."
"I just can't make a shot," said Bryant, who was ranked No. 93 in ESPN's #NBArank project
"Maybe. Just playing like s--- right now, that's all," Bryant said. "I'm getting the shots I want. Just got to make them."
Bryant, 37, didn't blame fatigue or his health or shot selection.
"At some point you've just got to say to hell with all of that and just figure out how to put the ball in the hole," Bryant said.

lol, there was no comparison to begin with. Just Kobe stans liking their guy over the clearly better but more boring player.
Kobe is a legend. We will miss him and his iso-ball-centric era.

i called this 4 years ago. after the 2011 season, Kobe was clearly on the slow decline. He made the declining process faster, by tryna play like he was still 26, 27, and Place his body thru unnecessary bull shyt, and it broke down on him.
Now Kobe whining, "i suck". nikka u 21 years in, still tryna play like u 21. Give it up.
Its like that 40 year old at the club wearing the r.kelly, back to school fall edition outfits, tryna compete with the kids. U look stupid nikka.
at this stage, Kobe should be playing off the youngions. While giving them game about the league through mentorship, ala Timmy D, KG, Paul Pierce, Dwade.
But this nikka has no ppl skills. No friends. nikka Kobe be all akward around his team mates, tryna make small talk. "How about that rain...huh guys?"
