Every article I've ever read about Kobe in the Byron Scott era, when they interview Scott he's always making excuses for Kobe. It's one thing to defend your players but sometime you need to call out your players when they're fukking up. Seems like Kobe's the one running the team and not Byron.

even in his suckitude Kobe still believes he's better than 250 other NBA players

do the math 30 teams 15 players per team

My favorite player of all-time is on his last legs...literally. I feel it's time to go back home and root for the hometown, like I do in Boxing, since it will never be the same rooting for the Lakers without Kobe:mjcry:. I don't have nearly as much love for these "new" Lakers as I did for the Lakers of my youth, so I think I ran my course with em:wow:

You never know, you might feel the same once Mamba retires, and become more involved with watching the Rockets:lupe:

Its really funny how common this has been (yes I'm keeping a log  ) Kobecentric laker stans have routinely been called out for being frontrunners and they always responded with how ridiculous it is that they should have to root for a local team and that it makes no sense. As Kobe had become increasingly :flabbynsick: and teams in DC, Toronto, SF bay area, Cleveland etc have improved, those "fans" have become homers.

You either Die a hero, or live long enough to see yourself become the Villain :mjcry:
Kobe been the villain tho, that's why he's my GOAT:blessed:

But man, I hope he realizes he can't spread himself thin anymore and just accepts his role as an off the ball, mid range shooter/slasher and uses his post up game. I'm all for the occasional iso when he's in the zone but he can't be doing that shyt to get into a rhythm anymore. Even Hercules had to face reality:wow:

Thing is though Bilz, I don't care, because Ima happy Kobe stan.:yeshrug:

My favorite player's career is trickling down & so is my time in LA...it is what it is.:manny:

Don't tell me that you are upset because after all these years of saying "yall Lakers fans are nothing but bandwagoners. you dont live in LA and you should root for your hometeam", and Im saying "okay, Im gonna root for the team where I live. The team I already watch 82+ games out of the year and go to their games in real life".....are you advising me to NOT root for the local professional teams now?:jbhmm:

We need more Sheed smilies too

yeah that one was the end really. It's been all downhill afterwards. Feels rotten to see all time greats go out like that. Suggs, Steve smith, Shaq totally broke down, Steve Nash too. Ed Reed could barely play a month without spraining or tweaking something at the end. shyt ain't fair.
legit :heh:

Can't really blame them though. You get 15-20 years at most and then that is it. Might as well get all you can out of it, even if you are looking :flabbynsick:.

It's not just a Byron Scott thing. There was literally one coach who could handle Kobe's shyt and make it work, and he's not walking through that door.
