Kobe played 21 years tho.
Mj played 14 years in total...

That's 7 more years of wear and tear.

Jordan played in college for 3yrs, lol. 82games no, but I'm sure he played just as much by way of pickups & practice.

4yr difference....then subtract 2yrs Kobe was out. Only 2 season difference!

During which time Jordan still played professional sports.

EDIT: Jordan missed a season to injury too though. So it's more like 3 seasons difference.

Anyways Kobe has to keep racking up totals cause he ain't have that lebron green light/starter early on. Kobe had to come up behind prime Eddie jones.

Otherwise people will rewrite history on Kobe.

Gotta subtract from Jordan. Then add in the baseball. Ok, Kobe is playing 1more year professionally as of now by your logic.

I'm was not counting baseball nor his injury year.

Let Kobe warm up. He did solid game1.

Charles Woodson having one of his best seasons with the raiders at 39! Kids don't even know how popular his jersey was late 90s.

Take the TS% on to the nerds bruh. That nikka was 2-16 last night and been shooting like ass in their 3 losses. Dude is 25 or 26 yrs old. Again, what's his excuse?

It's three games. Kobe once had a 13 game stretch in his prime where he missed something like 38 straight three-pointers. He shot 25% from three for the entire playoffs in 2004. All players have bad stretches. Those tiny 3-game sample sizes don't mean anything.

Kobe isn't saying this because of just three bad games...it's been years since that shot was there for him. This isn't something he is just going to recover from. It'll take a miracle for him to shoot 45% this year.

This. I don't think he's cracked 33% shooting from deep since 2008 or 2009, yet he keeps firing away from deep. Stop doing it. It's not a shot you're good at anymore.

It's not even that he sucks. He can still get in the lane and can still free himself in the post or perimeter to get a shot off.

It's just that he's refusing (so far) to try and take good shots. It's all out of rythym 3s or retarded mid post fadeaways. The only time he moves the ball is when he's doubled in the post.

You can tell Byron has no say in what happens on the court in regards to Kobe because anybody would be getting yanked for doing what kobes been doing this year.

Maybe he's shooting that many 3's, because he cant get to the basket as easy as he used to?:yeshrug:

Either way, it's only 3 games. James Harden is playing even worse....and he's in his prime. Let 37 year old Kobe live nikkas:birdman:

My favorite player of all-time is on his last legs...literally. I feel it's time to go back home and root for the hometown, like I do in Boxing, since it will never be the same rooting for the Lakers without Kobe:mjcry:. I don't have nearly as much love for these "new" Lakers as I did for the Lakers of my youth, so I think I ran my course with em:wow:

You never know, you might feel the same once Mamba retires, and become more involved with watching the Rockets:lupe:
